"I called in the morning and they were at my home by noon. They looked at the problem and offered two solutions, rebuild or replace, citing the pros and cons of both. We decided to replace the whole thing as it was more than 30 years since being installed, and a new one would be more water efficient. The whole job - replacing the toilet, the flange, and the shut off valve, took about an hour. There were 2 young men who worked on it. They were very courteous, professional, and kept the area clean. The two workers showed up in a car with an industrial vacuum in the back.  They went into my attic and blew out all of the vents and did some mold remediation for $658.  It seemed a little pricey for about two hours worth of work from two individuals.  Overall, they were quick and did as they were supposed to, which I guess is all you could ask for.
