"Since I didn't need this spigot, I called B&D to remove it. However, as it's a lake cabin, the spigot didn't have a shut-off and was tied directly to the kitchen supply lines. They were able to cut the pipe and cap the spigot line without affecting the kitchen water. While on the job, they diagnosed the well tank as on its last legs (as already feared), so a leaking spigot ending up being a well pump and tank replacement. They also moved the kitchen supply lines from the exterior walls to come up through the floor in order to give the cabin the potential for year-round use. A lot of the work required squirming around under the cabin on a dirt 'floor' with very little clearance."
