"A/C died and John from John Henry was able to come that evening to give us a bid. He explained our options thoroughly and was very pleasant. Justin R and Tony were at our house by 8 am the next day. They were very professional and asked if they were too loud several times throughout the day. Frankly, I hardly knew they were there by the amount of noise they made. They picked up everything before they left. Justin did a great job explaining our new A/C, air cleaner and thermostat. The next day, we had our ducts cleaned. Even though that activity is inherently noisy, they drastically minimized the noise by keeping the air compressor out in the garage. The most “difficult” thing was when I had to transfer our cats from one room to another and that took just a couple minutes. Both technicians were very nice. I called several Angie' s List heating and cooling companies for estimates and availability for quick relief from the heat. I called Climatech on a Sunday night at 7:30 pm. They said they could install the very next day and had the best price of those I called. By early afternoon I had a new working air conditioner! They were men of their word. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"the project went well. installation was timely and everything was explained well. I did call when I thought I had a problem with the humidifier causing me not to have hot water in the house. I started with my salesperson, but it took several days to get someone set up to come out and investigate. By that time I figured out what was wrong myself and corrected it. I was not happy with this followup service."
