"I actually had two services completed - The installation of a heat pump and a new water heater. They arrived right on time and completed both jobs in a day. Jesse and Jonathan did an excellent job. This was a 3rd-floor condo unit so the outside unit was on the roof of the 5th story, I could not have been more pleased with the outcome - a very professional and thorough job. They even relocated the thermostat to a better wall location. Very easy to work with and the most important thing to me was they obviously take a lot of pride in their work and it's always a pleasure to deal with people who do what they say. "They showed up on time, checked out my new sink, faucet set and drain for completeness and compatibility, then went to work removing the old hardware. The sink would not come loose from the countertop, because the installer used construction adhesive instead of caulking, but they guys figured out a way to make it happen without damaging my countertop. Neal noticed the lever control on my new faucet was installed backwards from the factory, and carefully disassembled it and made it right without leaving a single scratch or mark on my new faucet. After everything was installed, they went over the whole thing with a fine tooth comb to be sure everything worked as it should with no leaks, including letting the faucet heat up with hot water and chill down with cold water. They left my kitchen immaculately clean around the work area and carried away all the old parts. Those three guys worked 7.5 hours, not letting a couple of setbacks deter them, finding a way forward, and left me a very happy customer. They were punctual, cordial, polite, knowledgeable and professional. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat."

I'm impressed by her customer service and have changed my review stars, as she made it clear that this was an aberration and they wanted to make things right. She offered her personal cell phone to arrange any future service, and that type of attention to remedy an unhappy customer speaks highly of how they do business. Wildly incompetent and a waste of our time to hire them. My husband understands plumbing, but works long hours and was trying to "buy back time" by hiring a professional to finalize a toilet kit repair. We hired Foster based on reviews and they sent out someone who was so weirdly patronizing for also being so incompetent. When my husband explained that there was a new kit installed and it was mostly complete, but there was a small leak that needed finalized tightening, the plumber didn't even get down on the ground to inspect the back of the stool. He just informed us we needed a "major rebuild" and a new toilet. WHAT?!?! I sincerely don't know if he's just poorly trained and didn't understand the problem or whether he was trying to exploit us. It didn't make sense that he didn't understand the problem, especially when someone was telling him explicitly what was needed. He also quoted $299 each for two faucets replaced, which is the HIGH end of average costs. I don't mind paying more for quality work, but someone without a basic understanding of a toilet leak shouldn't be charging high market value for their work. My husband paid for the service call and declined services, and used his lunch break to fix the toilet completely (no new parts nor rebuild necessary) and install faucets. We were quoted $920.34 for 3 tasks that took an accountant less than 1.5 hours to complete, without any formal plumbing training. That's not okay. Beyond that, I'm completely unimpressed with the management. Before posting a negative review, I make sure to go directly to management and see what they'd like to do to fix the frustration. Shawna (sp?) kept saying "I understand what you're saying," but clearly didn't. She kept talking about there being set prices for parts. WE DIDN'T NEED PARTS. She also kept defending how qualified he was, but that makes no logical sense if someone non-certified can have a better and quicker understanding of how to fix the problem. There are too many other reliable, qualified, reasonably priced plumbers out there. I will never do business with this one again. They might have other good plumbers, but our guy was not one of them."

"I had the pleasure of using this service last August. Last year my AC went out and another company wanted to charge me over $800. to repair it. Being outraged and "hot" I called Advantage. Two very handsome men not only quickly repaired it, but the bill was a little over $100. They were amazing, polite, professional and now that a friend is asking for an AC company to repair her broken AC, I am referring my friend to Advantage. ** Fast forward two years.. my heat goes out during the coldest weekend in years. Xmas weekend, I was without heat. I stayed in my bedroom running two portable heaters. I could not wait for Tuesday. I called Advantage Heating and Cooling. I was told the soonest appointment would be on Thursday, but the young lady promised if any cancellations, she would call. THANK THE G-Ds there was a cancellation. Alex Meyers arrived and did a complete inspection. I held my breath for the worst news. Alex was AMAZING, he fixed it for under $200. AND gave me a VERY honest explanation and advice. I LOVE THIS COMPANY. I would NEVER use anyone else, EVER!!!"
