"It was an excellent experience! My old Kenmore fridge (probably from the 90s) quit cooling/defrosting. After looking to replace it and finding thanks to the pandemic refrigerators are on backorder for months, I called 3 appliance repair companies who didn't call me back. I found Neli and was able to set up an appointment at a time I picked.. An incredibly patient tech (Chris C.) came chat on at the appointed time. I waited about 5 mins as he was wrapping up another call. I walked me through the diagnosis using a virtual support app on my phone. He was able to help me with taking things apart, helped me use our multimeter, and diagnosed the problem. I can do this repair myself. He gave me the exact part numbers and told me what I need to do. All for $35 for an hour on a Sunday. I can't believe how great this was. I thought I had to replace my refrigerator, but for $35 + $111 in parts (I could have gone cheaper but chose OEM) my refrigerator will return to health. Their website lists the tools you will need for a diagnosis/repair, make sure you have them ready. For refrigerators, you need a screwdriver (flat & phillips), a socket set, a multimeter, and theoretically a pair of pliers but I didn't use them. Also make sure your phone is charged (lesson learned)."

"Brad at Williams sent help out to us on a Saturday to look at the 12 year old unit we had. They weren't able to fix it so they ordered a new unit. It was delivered and installed the next Tuesday. Their installers were on the roof for 8 hours in 110 degrees just to get the unit up and running. They answered all our questions and charged a reasonable price for the new unit. I'd recommend Williams to anyone needing A/C work."

"Matt came out about 2 months ago and worked on a very perplexing problem on our furnace. I've had him back same problem, twice now. He's been able to fix it both times on warranty. We've determined that the controller board is dying, and we'll have him replace that. He's professional and friendly, knows what he's doing, communicates well, and shows up punctually. AND he honors his warranty."

He said that yes it could be replaced / fixed, but there is a risk that that particular piece may break in the process, in which case it would become more expensive. So he would be happy to try, or if it is just cosmetic (which it was), then we might want to wait until is actually broke or began leaky. But it was our decision. I thought that was a very honest answer and we were grateful for the insight. We chose not fix the shower at this time. But we will definitely call them again the next time we need help.

"Ace had installed an A/C unit for me about 7-8 years ago and that was the unit that broke down. The good: The tech was friendly, knowledgeable and got the job done quickly. He was very helpful in helping me get this covered by my home warranty company. The bad: 1) Tech showed up 5 to 6 hours later than originally scheduled. I don't have a problem with that but needed to put a bad grade on it. 2) The office was difficult to work with in getting their cooperation in working with my home warranty company. Their policy is that they do not work with home warranty companies. Eventually they were cooperative given that I was paying for the services and that my home warranty company would reimburse me. 3) The pricing was outrageous in my opinion. I paid $950 for 2 capacitors, a spliced wire and about 1 to 1.5 hours of labor. I understand there is a bunch of overhead cost and labor costs, however, $950 seems to be excessively high. Fortunately my home warranty company covered this cost. In summary, I was mostly disappointed in the high cost given that I was a previous customer. I was also disappointed with the difficulty I had in getting them to cooperate with my home warranty company when there was no risk of financial payment to Ace. I will not use Ace for any of my homes in the future."

"The a/c unit in our home started to show signs it was going to need to be replaced and we began the process of seeking bids through HomeAdvisor. Jodi called us immediately to introduce their family business, Paladin Mfg, and offer any assistance. No pressure just asked questions to determine what our needs and preferences were. Our son lives in this house and my husband and I live out of town. Darren and Jodi made arrangements to meet our son to check our old system and what our replacement needs would be. They came on a Sunday to accommodate his schedule (who does that?) Amazing! The expected happened, I called mid-morning on Wednesday and the next morning Darren and his crew were at the house installing a new unit. This involved Jodi making many calls to my son and me, as well as the dealer to order all the necessary components for the unit we chose. She went well above and beyond for us. Darren followed up the next day with our son to check how the unit was working. Also, to let him know he wants to be at the house the first time he turns the heating unit on. Over the years, we have replaced systems in two homes and have never had this level of customer service. Friendly, conscientious, thoughtful of our needs and what we wanted. The follow-up has been great, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them for the maintenance of this new system. Nancy and John."
