Corey came out in an expeditious manner and immediately set about removing the ice without making a mess. He also cleaned the compressor space. Even better he installed a heater element to prevent future ice buildup negating the need for a future service call for this problem. Well worth the money. He was clean, polite, knowledgeable and efficient. He is now a permanent addition to our address book."

"It was an excellent experience! My old Kenmore fridge (probably from the 90s) quit cooling/defrosting. After looking to replace it and finding thanks to the pandemic refrigerators are on backorder for months, I called 3 appliance repair companies who didn't call me back. I found Neli and was able to set up an appointment at a time I picked.. An incredibly patient tech (Chris C.) came chat on at the appointed time. I waited about 5 mins as he was wrapping up another call. I walked me through the diagnosis using a virtual support app on my phone. He was able to help me with taking things apart, helped me use our multimeter, and diagnosed the problem. I can do this repair myself. He gave me the exact part numbers and told me what I need to do. All for $35 for an hour on a Sunday. I can't believe how great this was. I thought I had to replace my refrigerator, but for $35 + $111 in parts (I could have gone cheaper but chose OEM) my refrigerator will return to health. Their website lists the tools you will need for a diagnosis/repair, make sure you have them ready. For refrigerators, you need a screwdriver (flat & phillips), a socket set, a multimeter, and theoretically a pair of pliers but I didn't use them. Also make sure your phone is charged (lesson learned)."

"Isley & Sons had previously installed my current water heater almost six years ago -with a six year warranty - and I remembered how impressed I was back then. So yesterday when I discovered shortly after 6am that the water heater had been leaking very rusty water, I quickly showered, turned the inlet valve off, turned off the circuit breaker, and called Isley & Sons and left a message. They returned my call soon after 7:30 and said I'd be fit in sometime between 8 and 4. So in the afternoon, I received a call and was also sent an email with the picture of the plumber who would be here. He called ten minutes before he arrived too. He began to drain the old tank and assessed what was needed, and then he called another employee to bring over the new tank.. Then the two of them wrestled out the old and brought in the new (my furnace/water heater & softener closet has very little wiggle room) and there was no damage to anything. I also have a new pan under the tank because my rather ancient one had a crack. They very efficiently completed the replacement, including modifying the copper pipes, cleaning up the rusty water, and so on. The price covered the labor, the new warranty, and the new indestructible pan under the heater. Both visits from Isley & Sons have been a pleasure and I have especially appreciated the unbelievably fast response and professionalism of all the staff including the office person who initially returned my call - so, yes, I would hire them again!"

"John contacted me within 4 hours of my purchasing this service and was available to schedule within a few days.  He arrived on time and was extremely professional and courteous.  I had already purchased a gas line install kit, but when he found that it was not the correct size he drove it back to Lowe's, returned it onto the credit card I had bought it with, and got a new one.  He went way out of his way.  There were full explanations given, he made sure to not scratch the floors or paint when moving the old one out and new one, and made certain there were no gas leaks via several different tests.  A great guy and I wish him much success in his endeavors!!"

"The 2 installers seemed punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable, but as a customer I feel that I had to assist too much. At first they weren't going to remove the old water heater. I pointed-out that "Removal and disposal of existing water heater" was listed in the advertised deal. (If it weren't for that and the Angie's List endorsement, I might've chosen differently.) In order to get the old unit out (and be finished that same day), I had to help them tip the old water on its side (to let the water in it drain-out), had to help move the old unit up the stairs and outside (we used a hand-cart), and had to help haul-away the old water heater, using my truck, to a location about 9 miles away. The new water heater has been in-use for about a month, without any problems. I'm glad that I was able to take care of the water heater replacement in one day."
