"Jimmy did an outstanding job!  Our cabinets were custom built and the one needed to be shortened over the refrigerator.  Jimmy was able to get the cabinet down from the wall, shorten it and reinstall it - you would not know it wasn't the cabinet that was originally installed.  He returned my initial call promptly.  He came over one day to see exactly what we were looking to have done and we agreed upon a price and date he'd return.  He arrived with all the necessary tools.  I can't say how much I appreciated his patience and diligence to make the cabinet look perfect.  He's personable and professional.  We will definitely call Jimmy in the future as we have some other things we would like to have done.  Definitely a business card we'll keep and share with friends who are looking for an excellent carpenter.

"I was searching for a provider to fix a 5yr old dryer.  it was making a terrible banging noise, so I decided to seek help
Fewman Service and Repair called almost immediately after an email was sent through Angie's List. 
during the phone call, a time was set up for the provider to come the next day between 12-1 pm.  the provider actually showed up 5 minutes early.
once inside, he took the dryer apart, found the problem, called the parts store, picked up the part, came back immediately and replaced the part.  after putting the dryer back together, the dryer is working beautifully.
I would recommend Fewman Service and Repair to anyone needing a major appliance repair.  I will definitely call again, if anything were to go wrong.

"Darin and his assistant arrived on time and wasted no time in setting up to clean my gutters (two stories worth). They also replaced about ten feet of wood trim around my chimney and painted (I provided the paint). It took about 3 hours to do the work because at first they had the wrong type of wood trim and had to run out to get the right kind. I appreciate them coming out and they did a superb job. Highly recommended.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
