"I am an avowed DIY-er, but I know my limitations ! In our version of "This Old House", our recent purchase of a 1910 home was in desperate need of new windows. The quotation appointment was prompt, on-time, with options offered for different grade of replacements and features. The price seemed fair (not a bargain basement offer, and VERY far from the 'ridiculous' numbers always put out by an un-named famous national chain). The expectations for installation date range were clearly set (as we all know some of the supply chain challenges we are all currently living with). Installation date was arranged, once they had the units from their supplier. Friendly reminder call the day before, crew of 2 showed up exactly on time, and the work was efficiently and professionally executed. 15 replacements completed on 1st day, and 2 more days (per plan) to complete to work for installing 2 brand new openings for 2 additional windows. Only a few days in, so far - but we could NOT be happier. The work was completed with craftsmanship (see below, as a portion of the work was more than just installing replacements)."

We had a jammed lock on an exterior door and needed a locking knob on an interior door. I called on Thursday, needing the work done on Monday. "Amazing! This is the second time I've used Daddy & Junior Paint and I am once again happy. The first project he did for me was a small job. Some ceiling repair and painting and I was very happy with the work he did so reached out to him for a much bigger project. Roldolfo removed a ceiling that had been ruined by a leaky roof and took the paneling off of the walls in a large space (approximately 700 SF). He then resheetrocked everything, mudded, painted and did the trim and crown molding. It came out beautiful. The space looks so much better than it did before. "Josh made an emergency call last week when our opener had been pulled out of the ceiling by the door. He said he could make the repair, but pointed out as he had in the past that the door was way too heavy, too much work for the opener, and the reason it pulled the opener out from the ceiling. He warned us that it would be a recurring problem. He explained the benefits of a new door in case we chose to go that route. He said he would apply our emergency repair charge to the replacement job if we wanted the new door instead. We decided that it made good sense to go ahead. He did the work today, as promised, did a great job, cleaned up everything, and was a pleasure to deal with, would call him again! I was surprised to notice the notes on his site here placed there by Angie's List, and found out that Josh's business had burned to the ground around the time Angie's made those notes. He spoke with a rep of Angie's and explained that they could not pay the fees Angie was requiring, and the result was the notes you will see when you see this page. I hope Angie's will see fit to put Shamrock back on their Search list, since this is a good company who performs quality work!
