"Great. Jeff quoted our specs, & did an in-house visit. He reviewed the entire project. He made sure Our expecting were realistic, before going on. Everything was clear, & got a competitive price.. We have noisy upstairs neighbors in Condo yelling & loud TV, RADIO,MUSIC & the project helped reduce it by 30-65%. It is hard to be specific without decipel meaning equipment. The cellulose bags say 60%, however Jeff pointed out expect 35%- that honesty, eventhough we got better. If you do a similar job, make sure you understand IMPACT noise, which is not what this project can do. So we are not disappointed, & got what we asked for. The noise was reduced, but not eliminated. This will keep us in a holding spot, in that we might not have to move for now, as moving is very expensive. This kind of improved our quality of life. Our contractor Juan & Dillon were Professional, respectful of our home & exceeded all posted reviews. "Was money paid or were services performed?*-bad question!"

"I contacted Discount Insulation to help determine why two of our bedrooms were so cold in the winter. Stu was very professional and was able to schedule a complimentary inspection that very afternoon. It turns out the original, 1956 insulation in the attic was mostly deteriorated and actually gone in some places, so we decided to move forward with a full attic, cellulose-blown insulation. In addition to the insulation, Stu also built a raised platform for our storage boxes (insulated underneath), wrapped the chimney to make sure there was no air seepage from below, covered the recessed light casings with fire-retardant covers, and built a removable, draft-proof cover for the house fan. The job took most of the day and was done efficiently, taking care to minimize the dust with plastic sheeting at the attic entrance and floor coverings throughout the house. They conscientiously cleaned up to perfection when the job was finished. My experience was very positive with Discount Insulation. They are courteous, mindful and respectful, as well as honest and trustworthy. I am very happy with my new R40 insulated attic and look forward to warmer bedrooms and lower heating bills in the winter."

"All went really well. Prior to the appointment, I was sent reading material which was helpful and prepared me for the appointment. On the day of the appointment, Nick was professional and personable. His presentation was outstanding. I really liked the videos. I had several questions, and I felt like Nick took his time to ensure I understood and was satisfied with each answer. My neighbors had their attic sprayed by Foamco and they’re extremely satisfied. According to them, their house is much more comfortable during the winter and summer, and they’re saving money monthly on energy bills. "I have nothing but good things to say about Colin and the team. They are professional, brought in an army to stay on track with timelines, and left the place looking better than it was before they started. They re-painted and finished the job better than expected. We could hear a pin drop upstairs before they came and it's now 80% better. We can hear them occasionally walking on the hard floor but no music, or anything else. We could hear their dog running up the hall, and no longer. The one thing to be aware of is that it's a full scale renovation that results in a lot of dust. It takes time to get every surface clean again but that's the only difficulty. They even fixed exposed cable wires in the ceiling and did additional aesthetic things that was not in the contract because "it made sense while the ceiling was open". We are the 4th in our building to use them and they continue getting business from our neighbors. They come highly recommended."

The only problem is that it takes a really long time to get them to do the work and they may contact you with as little as 24 hours notice that they have an opening."
