"This was quite a process. We signed with this company during the original visit and then had buyers remorse that we had not gotten other quotes, so we cancelled within the 3 days with no issues and kept in contact with our sales person. This was totally on us as we just wanted peace of mind before such a big commitment as we had 18 windows and a door to be replaced. We did get 2 more quotes, one from a big box retailer (orange) and one from an area competitor (the cookie guy). We were surprised to find out that the price was competitive among-st all 3 only separated really by a few hundred dollars. A lot of items like dual paint colors, single vs double hung etc were standard with HPA but additional cost with the others. The big box once installed you dealt with another company completely on the warranty and the cookie guy was so high pressure and rather than selling themselves spent most of the pitch trying to discredit the others which never sits well with me. HPA was priced right in the middle, financing was flexible (cookie guys did not have many options) the sales guy was personable, patient and no pressure and you call the company with issues, not a 3rd party. I spent a lot of time researching and reading reviews and we chose HPA. Once the windows were in and permitting was complete, they showed up with a huge crew and the installation was completed by 3pm that same day! Other than all new windows and a door, you did not know they were here. Our house was left clean and all old materials hauled away. Final permit sign off was remote due to Covid but was quick and they have since been here to remove all the stickers, install the plugs and thoroughly clean the windows. We just need one piece of trim which was recommended over the plugs for our door which will look more polished. It is an investment for sure but I would recommend this company without hesitation. Everything went very well, from the first meeting with Randall Lake to the final completion of the work.  Jose and his crew were punctual and a pleasure to work with.  They did a thorough job power washing the fence to remove all residue and, after allowing the wood to dry, they did a good job applying the fresh paint.  The fence looks better than new, and that's no exaggeration.

The work with the repair to the PVC ornamental shutters and "loft door" also went well.  The shutters were on windows at ground level, so the work was easily performed with a step ladder.  The "loft door" presented more of a challenge since it was on a wall above the first floor roof.  They had to climb to the roof and place another ladder to reach the top of the "loft door."  They filled all the holes with wood filler, which they sanded after it had dried.  They applied sealant in all the joints, and they repainted to match the original color.  The result was excellent.

Cost of this work was very reasonable, especially considering some of the difficulty with the work high on the roof.  The total cost for everything was about $185, including sales tax.

I should mention that my neighbors got onboard with the fence painting, so Jose and the crew did three fences, all at a cost of $100 apiece.  We are all happy with the work and the cost, and I know that I'll use Randall Lake and his people again.
