"Deen and Ahmed are amazing! When I phoned, Dean was able to arrange a next-day appointment, with a two-hour arrival window and a promise to phone when he was en route. Right on time, he phoned to say he would be at my house in 1/2 hour, which he was. Our system is an ancient, over 30 year old unit, which, though still blowing cold, needed a full recharge, due to an apparent small pinhole leak that must have been draining the refrigerant slowly but surely. While many companies would have insisted on trying to sell us a new, high end, expensive system, Deen understood that this would be a major expense, and advised us that it was worth running the old system as long as possible after refilling the refrigerant, and that it would likely get us through the summer, which was a huge relief! While we realize it's risky to refill an older system, which could have leaks, and whose leaks could worsen, we are so grateful to Deen for not pressuring us into taking the plunge immediately by purchasing a new system, while our old system was still functioning, leak notwithstanding. While refilling, the unit began to freeze, so Deen let it sit for 20 minutes to allow the freon to settle, before finishing the process. Rather than rushing off to the next job, he patiently waited the necessary time and safely completed the process. When it came time to pay, Deen was kind enough to give us a break on the per pound cost of refrigerant, since we had purchased a full refill's worth, so that the total cost was in our budget range for taking the risk of trying to last another season with our old unit. I very much enjoyed chatting with Deen, who is an extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and pleasant guy, and will most certainly call him when our system is finally ready to be replaced, which may come this season or next. Either way, I appreciate his efforts at saving us from unnecessary spending, and his willingness and support for the gamble of refilling the system one last time, before RF22 refrigerant stops being produced in 2020. The selection process I followed before hiring Dun Rite included an investigation of the AC units I wanted to purchase, cost estimates of components the vendor would need for the installation, 3 bid process with reputable vendors, reference checks, and confirmation of insurance coverage. Initial meeting: My initial meeting with Peter went very well. He spent time explaining the best way to approach my project and what his recommendations were to achieve the best results. He is very knowledgeable and confident. He was on time and professional. Pricing: Dun Rites initial pricing was very competitive. To be honest, no other contractor could come close to the pricing offered by Dun Rite for superior quality. Quality: Pete and his team did exceptional work even by my high standards. The work they performed was very impressive. The methods they use to install new ductwork could not compare to any of the other vendors I researched. Peter’s team installed no soffits or disrupted any closets. Larry and Larry, the installers that worked on my project, were very professional and demonstrated exceptional workmanship. Any issues that were discovered during the project were addressed in a timely manner. Comments / Observations: Peter is a very hard worker and takes on many responsibilities in running the business. He moves quickly to insure everything gets done, so you need to keep up. Texting him or calling him is much better than sending an email if you need an immediate response. He is always on the go. I only make or write recommendations for vendors that are exceptional and I can tell you, Dun Rite heating and cooling is one you can trust. I would use them again and recommend them to family and friends."

"I am very happy with Mikes Air Conditioning. Here it is JULY and I while in the middle of doing some renovations to my home, I noticed the AC wasn't working the way it should be. I contacted Mike's (fearing the worst) and they sent out a service technician who was able to repair the system for a reasonable cost and buy me some more time before I have to replace the entire system. I had some minor work completed and the freon topped off and now I'm cool and comfy!  Considering all of the expenses with renovating I was very happy to not have a high repair bill. Mikes was efficient, conscientious and professional and they completed the job on time and for a reasonable cost. I recommend them for AC repair as well as installation of new units. When I'm able to replace my system, I'll be calling Mikes Air Conditioning to do the job. Building relationships and getting repeat business should be the goal of any business.
