This was my second time using LDS renovations; both experiences exceeded my expectations. Previously, LDS replaced a kitchen window and repaired some rotten exterior wood surrounding two other windows. Most recently, LDS replaced three rotten window sills and the surrounding wood trim. I contacted them, through their website, to request a quote for the repairs. I received a call back the same day to set up an appointment to get the estimate. Ronnie came out as scheduled (actually, he was early which rarely happens with other contractors). He inspected the areas to be repaired and told me he would email me a quote. I received the quote quickly and his estimate was in line with the other companies I had checked with. I scheduled the work and Ronnie and his crew showed up on time and finished the work quickly and did a fantastic job. They could have just replaced the wood and been done, but Ronnie went the extra mile to use composite for an area especially prone to getting wet and treated additional areas to extend the life of the repairs. Ronnie was a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and takes great pride in doing the best job possible. I would not hesitate to use LDS renovations again in the future should the need arise.

"Quote given by phone and appointment scheduled. Guys communicated by text in advance of arrival on appointment day. Arrived as promised and quickly fixed door. Very friendly interactions. Only strange thing was the repair person said the price was $130, but I had been quoted $80. When I pushed back, he immediately conceded to $80 price. "I called Forest door for a quote and they came out to quote it right away. Their price was competitive. I had them quote on the door quite a while ago but I did not proceed because of cost. When I re-opened my inquiry, between them and their competition, they were able to locate the quote quickly and got the business. It took about two weeks for the door to come in and they installed it right away. The two man crew came out to my house within the one hour time frame. It took a few hours to install."

"Trying to execute a major outdoor renovation project during a time of global supply chain disruptions poses many challenges. Happy to report that Mal and PHI navigated that rocky path very well. Mal kept us informed of the many changes coming from the supplier as far as colors and delivery. It was a long process...8 months between signing the contract and having the work completed. In the end we are very happy with the product and the quality of the work. A major windstorm hit the area the day after the work was completed and put the installation to the test. Everything held up perfectly...no loose bits flapping on the house or flying around the yard. In researching this project ahead of time, we had spoken with many friends who've had their siding replaced and none of them were especially happy with their contractor. "I have used Murphy's three separate times to replace doors and windows in my home, and I plan to use Murphy's and only Murphy's in the future.
