While there, the Sila agent suggested we replace some of the attached lines and managed to streamline our hookups by removing some of the unneeded valves and connections no longer needed. VISIT 2: We similarly had a great visit and instal from David, who did a very beautiful install on our new water heater. He removed the broken unit, improved the connection design, put in improved valves and labelled each with a tag, then tagged other connections through the basement."

"I own an older cape that was built in 1959. My wife and I have been living with window air conditioners for the past 13 years, as the our house has no ductwork to accommodate conventional central air conditioning. We did some research on high velocity, micro-duct A/C systems as an alternative to conventional central air systems. We heard about Joyce Cooling & Heating from our next door neighbor, whose father had used them several years ago and we decided to give them a call. The salesman, Abe, came out the next day to determine project scope and provide a quote (scope can be quite complicated depending on layout of house). Abe went a step further and brought the owner, Tony, out to the house a few days later and together they explained the project in detail and provided us with ideas/options on how to configure the system. The project began on June 13 and was completed on June 16. The installation team (mechanic - Bob and apprentice - Mitch) was polite, courteous and most efficient. The amount of work that they accomplished in 3 days far exceeded my expectations. They left my house immaculate at the end of each workday. High velocity A/C systems are not cheap, however, my wife and I could not be happier with our investment in this quality product. The entire Joyce team is clearly focused on customer satisfaction and they made this an enjoyable experience for us. I would definitely recommend Joyce Cooling & Heating to others."

"Steve and his team are real pros. Jason came out and talked us through the various install options, with a lot more thought and consultation than the other two contractors we talked to. In the end, the quote was higher, but we felt we were getting a better product, backed by a better company. Steve (the owner), Travis and Mike (installers) were pros too. Keeping us up to date, starting/completing the work on time, etc. The crew were super clean throughout the project. They even hooked up everything and reprogrammed my ecobee3 smart connected thermostats. Jason spent an hour on the phone with me about the unit and i know any of them would stop by if we needed more help. We were worried about what we heard about the noise factor with high velocity units and these guys take great care to design the lengths and add sound-dampening material to the last 3 feet of the vents. The whole system is super impressive. Couldn't recommend them highly enough."

We have always been on automatic oil fill and we have never had an issue. My most recent experience was today - we needed a service and a replacement part. The technician was very polite, experienced, knowledgeable and respectful of our time (David). He also had a more junior team member with him (Domenic) who was very respectful as well. "The personable owner, Tony Del Papa, came out to give us <br /> an estimate for installing exhaust fans in our bathroom. Since we <br /> hadn't bought the fans yet, it was helpful that he told us what to <br /> look for and suggested a particular brand. We then ordered fans <br /> through Lowe's. <br /> The company was prompt with returning calls and providing a written <br /> estimate in the mail. <br /> Once we had an appointment with the company that was going to vent the <br /> fans, we scheduled Village Electric to come out several days before <br /> that day.The two workers who came out were courteous and arrived within the <br /> hour time window we expected them. We tested out the fans and they <br /> worked fine, but we waited until they were vented to the outside to <br /> actually use them. <br /> The quality of the electrical work performed was good, but we had a <br /> couple of minor issues, which is the reason that we gave a B for <br /> professionalism. To install the fans, the workers had to go into the attic. <br /> They had to move some insulation from the attic floor <br /> and did not roll it back into place when they were done, and the <br /> insulation batting covering the attic hatch mysteriously disappeared. <br />   <br /> Also, a piece of ceiling that needed to be cut out was left in the <br /> attic instead of being discarded. Replacement of the junction box for <br /> the master bathroom light/fan switches caused a ceramic towel bar to <br /> partly detach from the wall. <br /> We have used Village Electric several times before, and this is the <br /> only time anything like this has happened. We informed <br /> them about it and don't expect to have any future problems, so we will <br /> use them again. <br />"
