"Can not imagine a better response, starting with my call for assistance, response time and how the technician, Tad methodically diagnosed the problem. We have an obscure kitchen fixture that required service in Feb 2019. Under warranty the problem was easily diagnosed by me, a problem possibly caused by me and a replacement part sent and installed by Albert Nahman team. Problem: I broke the faucet cartridge. Current Problem: restricted hot water flow in this kitchen sink only. Turns out the new cartridge part is now malfunctioning. I called and Tad arrived taking a step by step approach ruling out possible causes: a clog here or there, build up of sediment, or blockage in the lines or cartridge. The company that sells the product got on the phone with Tad and they collaborated on the problem and the tech person gave Tad one more thing to try. After the collaboration it is agreed, problem persisted and therefore that new cartridge part is now malfunctioning and will be shipped free of charge in two days. Thanks to all, who made this possible and I trust we will have Tad here again soon to finalize this fix. BTW, cost of service was less than expected given going rates for such a call lasting in excess of one hour. Another comment, spending time with Tad during the repair was a pleasure to have him explain, collaborate, listen and just chat. Questions on who to call next time, no question who I will call next time. I have read criticism of costs: In the Berkeley area "How much does it cost to hire a plumber? Some plumbers have a minimum fee for a service call. They might charge anywhere from $175-250 to come out and give you a consultation. Plumbers may give you a general service rate of $128-148 per hour when there are a lot of unknowns about a project and they aren't sure how long it will take. Some charge a flat rate for their plumbing services. For example, you may get charged $175 for a sink or drain cleaning, while toilet installation costs $500." Today costs are upfront, same as charges in Feb, $69 to arrive and assess the problem. Here in excess of one hour for $129 minus $25 coupon, total charge $173. I am ok and I expected these costs. If I was in Philly, where I grew up, I could call an uncle or cousin and get a better rate, a family rate. This is going rate for our area."

"Charlie was on time. After looking at our ducts he told us our 46 yr. old ducts do not need replaced and being such a friendly sole he stayed awhile and let us talk his ear off. He was very honest and anyone that needs his help is lucky to find such a guy. My wife told me that god must have destroyed that mold after he was born because his type (honest, friendly and, kind) is very hard to come by. You can bet we will hire him if ever the need be."

"<p>We contacted Moore's to do a furnace, dryer vent cleaning and air duct inspection after receiving a mailer for a special on this service.  We knew that our furnace would need to be replaced because of its age, however Moore's didn't pressure us.  The technician gave us the facts, showed me the issues with the furnace and explained energy efficiency possibilities with a new system.  We asked to meet with a salesman to discuss our options.  Eric Rosetti came to our house and showed us all of the options we had for replacing the furnace and air conditioning options.  We were curious about solar, and Eric explained the available tax credits for solar as well as financing through CalFirst.  Although the air conditioning and solar were outside of our original budget we felt very comfortable with the level of service and the reviews that we had found for Moore's and decided to proceed.</p> <p>Every interaction with Moore's was the best customer service I've ever experienced.  I met at least 10 employees from the first visit through installation until the last follow up and each person was courteous, professional and friendly to work with.  Curtis Moore (one of the owners) came out to do the walk through to determine what they would need and answer all of our questions prior to install and further explained their motto of 100% Right or 100% Free!  It is very refreshing to work with a company that projects great values and customer service throughout their entire organization.</p> <p>The installation went without fail and finished one day early.  The follow up appointments were easy to schedule and Moore's was there every step of the way with instructions on next steps with the city inspector, tax information and setting up PG&E with our solar panels.  Any time I have a question all I have to do is call and they are responsive and happy to help.  I wish more companies were like this.</p>"

"Rick (Ricardo Mora), the owner of American Heating &amp; Air, came to my house to look at a very old gas wall heater and give me an estimate. I was having a problem with it turning on automatically from the thermostat but not always turning off. Another company had refused to even look at it because of its age and told me I had no option other than replacing it, which is not something I can afford to do at this time. Rick not only looked at the heater, and figured out a couple of possible reasons why it didn&#39;t always turn off, but he actually disassembled the whole thing to inspect the inside of the furnace and make sure it didn&#39;t have any cracks or holes in it, and then put everything back together again. He adjusted the air intake and gas pressure and inspected and fixed the thermostat which had loose screws. Lastly he looked at another old wall heater identical to this one and secured the front panel which was loose. Now the old furnace is working just fine and he saved me thousands of dollars of expense. I also now know more about the inner anatomy of a gas wall heater and how it works than I ever wanted to know! I am extremely grateful for his help and highly recommend his company. Rick is knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, punctual, and generous with his time. He went way beyond the call of duty to help me out. These old heaters won&#39;t last forever and I would have no qualms about hiring this company to repair or replace them. Besides, I like to support small businesses and locally owned and operated companies."

"I have to give this 3 star rating based on price. 5 stars for customer service, promptness, courtesy and professionalism. The gentleman that provided me with the estimate was top notch. NO pressure, 100% honest and generally very respectful of my interaction. However, the price quoted is, without a doubt, not realistic. I searched online for furnace pricing and a very high quality and highly rated piece of equipment averaged around $2500. But my quote for a new furnace with installation was $7500! This is totally unacceptable! Furnace replacement is not rocket science. As a very handy guy, and one who has, first hand, witnessed an installation, $5000 in labor for a 4 to 5 hour job is just way more than this is worth. $1000 per hour is more than lawyers and doctors charge. And there is no flexibility on this pricing. And I don't feel that the months overhead of this company should be charged on each and every installation. Additionally, I received quotes from 3 other companies and their pricing is almost identical. Price fixing? Taking advantage of consumers? You make the call. BUYER BEWARE!"
