"I called back on Monday, Donnie came out that afternoon and the price was great, he was professional and pleasant. The installers came Tuesday. A friend was at the house as I had to work and he kept calling me with things to ask Donnie. Donnie never sounded irritated and always said you are the customer and we want you to be happy. The issue required the technician to come back after he left Tuesday and he was pleasant as well even though it was already late. This technician couldn't identify why the unit was registering the correct numbers (my friend identified this issue, I would never had know, they left and all seemed fine). The technician was coming back Wednesday morning ( I had to take a day off of work) but Donnie first had another technician come to the house that evening. They found the copper pipes or whatever goes under the house was the problem and they needed to install new pipes through the attic. They never showed any disrespect or tone that wasn't professional and made me feel like the customer did come first. It took a lot of time and someone else to keep pushing the issue (my friend did A/Cs in Texas so he knew things luckily). When they say it isn't really the A/C that fails it is the installation, this could have been one of those. Thanks Service Star for great service. Luckily it isn't hot out but I can't really test the system but we will!"

"Perfect! The AC quit on a Friday evening. I called Ellington expecting a recording or answering service, but got a live person. They scheduled a call Saturday morning on Memorial Day weekend and the Tech showed up on time. Couldn't repair as a part was needed, but said he would look for a temporary fix and returned Sunday morning and fixed it. Ordered the new replacement part on Tuesday and made permanent repair on Thursday. I'm 77 years old and I've never dealt with a more professional company then Cocoa's Ellington Air conditioning service."

The dryer vent hose was not secure as the dryer vent tape had dried out. 
so they picked up a replacement dryer vent hose and clamps,
Vacuum cleaned out the dryer vent pipe.
Vacuum cleaned out the dryer filter

Things I did:
Put the washer and dryer on felt sliders to make it easier to move the water and dryer on the tile floor.
Replaced the dryer vent louvers with new ones.
The old ones get brittle after 5 or 10 years in the weather.

Things I still need to do:
put on a new set of Washer hoses."

Disappointed with the longevity of my last TRANE system, I decided to consider Carrier and other brands. Kabran was not the least expensive quote, but their pricing was reasonable and they seemed concerned with selecting the most appropriate (not necessarily most expensive) equipment for my needs. I went with them primarily because of their reputation and the pleasant, customer oriented communication I had with everyone in their office. My job was complex, involving duct repair, long supply lines, and humidity control. I waited over 6 months to write this review because I wanted to make sure the installed equipment actually worked well in the hottest summer months, the humid fall, and the cooler winter. My experience with Kabran and the Carrier system has been excellent. Kabran personnel are professional, courteous, and competent. They arrived as scheduled and properly completed the complex installation. They successfully trouble shot limitations/challenges posed by my home and did not charge me extra for unanticipated costs. There were a few punch list items that they quickly and happily came back to fix. The system has worked beautifully on the hottest days and coldest days so far and humidity control has been excellent. I recently discovered a damper in my system only used during winter months was not working. This was months after the installation. They quickly came, evaluated the situation and performed the repairs at no charge. In summary, Kabran Air Conditioning and Heating is an honest, experienced, and competent HVAC company characterized by high quality work at reasonable prices with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. They truly deserve the excellent reputation they have in Brevard County and I recommend them without hesitation."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

A non-Angie's list contractor previously quoted me $3,000 and said I have to change the whole duct systems. Eric instead was able to fix the issues for $430. He didn't waste any time and got to work very quickly. Definitely recommend working with him!"
