Our service man Robbie, was pleasant, professional, knowledgable, and through in every way. He replaced the broken torsion springs, which come with a lifetime warranty and checked all the other features of our garage door system. Highly recommend this company! They also have coupons and promotions and extra helpful, nice, and easy to understand people on the phone.

ReliaLift's technician, Matt Cantin, provided excellent service.  He thoroughly inspected my garage door, shared a wealth of knowledge about my garage door system, and replaced the old worn out rollers on my garage door with new rollers.  Overall, he was very professional, communicative, and knowledgeable.  He never tried to upsell me on something I didn't need and was very trustworthy.  The only modestly negative concern I would like to note is that we rescheduled once due to the cold weather (not ReliaLift's fault) but then they moved my time slot on the day of service 2 additional times.  Still, I would recommend ReliaLift (especially Matt) and use them again for future garage door repair needs.

"Overall, Bear Mountain did a good job re-painting my home. And you will probably find that they are cheaper than some painters if you get a lot of quotes. I would say you’ll be satisfied with the paint job, but don’t use them for any repairs, and be aware that they will do the minimum necessary to complete the job. You are getting what you pay for. A basic paint job. I do not like what they consider “touch up” and how they bill. It seems like touch up could be anything from a small missed spot, to an entire corner missed, to something in the contract not completed. In other words, I think they use “touch up” a little too loosely. Their invoices will state that payment is due upon “substantial” completion. So, as you could imagine, they will want payment and could consider many things touch up, when I would consider it, job incomplete. What happened with me is after a quick glance I thought they were 100% done, and didn’t even see touch up items, and I paid them. But, later on I noticed areas where the paint was thinly sprayed on, a corner board not painted, nail holes not filled in, and an attic vent I stressed should be painted with extra care because it’s really old wood, which was not. And with that vent screen which should be replaced which was not. I even reminded the lead guy while he was here. I played phone tag with them to try and get them back for touch up. I’ve been very busy at my job and would miss their call. I would call back and they would say that the person who called already left or was not available. Then I honestly was afraid even if they came back they wouldn’t do this attic vent right, so I just took care of it. I was afraid because they aren’t craftsmen or carpenters first. They are painters - even though they advertise they do all the repair stuff too. I would recommend you hire a quality carpenter if you need any repairs done. They replaced some flashing for me, attempted to screw part of it down through cement (unique situation - long story). You can tell they had trouble with this part and just left screw holes in a few spots where they couldn’t get the screws to grip into the cement. I also needed a fascia board replaced. They forgot at first, but did come back and did that on the last day. I know they forgot because why would you replace a board after painting the area? And, it was done in a rough manner in my opinion. It just seems like the carpentry side of their crew members may not be their strong suit. And because that’s the vibe I got - I didn’t want them to come back and attempt to re-do anything honestly. That parts on me I guess. In short, since they may not hurt your wallet as much as certain companies, I’d say, use them for your exterior paint job, but maybe before they come out, have someone else you really trust do any wood rot repairs, or other carpentry work. It also depends on how picky you are. Perhaps the level of quality I’m looking for just doesn’t exist anymore. Or, doesn’t exist in my price range."

"It seems so rare these days to find a company that does what they say, but Floors Sag or Shake is one of those companies. During the inspection process when looking to buy a 1935 farmhouse, Eddie provided a detailed estimate and explanation of what needed to be done to make the foundation secure. They were willing and able to make repairs that two of the larger foundation repair companies said they wouldn't do after looking at the foundation. When we decided to go ahead with buying the house and chose Floors Sag or Shake for the repairs, I told Eddie that we'd be in touch after closing. He called the morning of our closing to see if we were ready to start repairs. They started when they said they would, did they work they outlined in the contract, finished when they promised and charged the amount in the contract. This seems to be such a simple, successful business model, but is so rare to actually experience as a customer. The crew were professional, respectful and generally likable guys. The supervisor came out on a Saturday to repair a leaking pipe in the crawl space, even though they weren't completely certain that they caused the leak. Floors Sag or Shake was also responsive after the project. A few of the footings still had the wooden forms attached and the vapor barrier had shifted a bit. The crew came back out and quickly took care of both issues.

"This is my second project with Jean-Claude and it went extremely well (just like the first one).  We had a lot of challenges with the original construction of the kitchen and the shortcuts taken by the builder.  Jean-Claude and his team are very detail-oriented and made sure everything lined up well.  What I really appreciate about him is his problem-solving attitude.  Instead of just patching things together and getting out as fast as he can, he really takes the time to develop a good strategy toward finishing the work.  I would highly recommend Jean-Claude for any bathroom or kitchen remodeling.

"It is so quiet and care free. He installed it quickly and didn't leave a mess.It works without a second thought. He installed a Genie screw type of closer.  I have an external key pad to open the door when I am just outside without a key. I love it. He worked on my time schedule too.  I did not have to work around his.  He was flexible about when he could come, on a weekend.  I would recommend Kenny to anyone. He comes when he says he would and gets the work done. thanks Kenny."

"The guys were friendly and respectful. They did pretty good work, including picking up some stuff for us from Home Depot that we’d ordered on our own. However, they were not great at listening, being adaptable, and making sure the jobs were done to the highest standards. Example 1: we had noted that there was some rot in the doorframe of our shed, and so fixing a few specific places was part of the work order.... but during the repair, additional rot was discovered, and they wouldn’t fix it because it hadn’t been pre-approved. Example 2: we had a drainage issue off the roof, and the estimator had thought it was a problem with the pitch of the gutter — but after the work order had been written, we discovered that the problem was slightly different. The actual repair guys went ahead with the work order, even though we’d explained that the problem was different. I think the biggest problem is the rigid business model that doesn’t allow the actual repair people to adapt to the needs as they see them, but instead relies exclusively on the initial estimate to determine what work gets done. Finally... they didn’t remove the waste building materials as part of their service, so now we’re stuck hauling off rotten doors to the dump."
