In addition to all the usual things a contractor would do as part of installing new gas appliances, Sila's technicians and staff also spent a lot of additional time customizing invoices and estimates to meet the excessive demands of the insurance companies that were paying our claims; doing research; advising us, etc. I also appreciate that technicians in the field are empowered to work with customers to find solutions in-situ. Every house and situation is different. While we did not end up having to pay out of pocket for the cost of replacing our gas appliances and boiler, we have used Sila for a lot of other work that we have paid for, and will continue to use them. While you will not get bargain basement pricing from Sila, they know what they are doing and when you are dealing with gas and plumbing, that's what you want."

"From start to finish we have had a great experience with Rodenhiser. Rick Picard came out to look at our system and provided a few estimates for different options while on site. We needed most of our 35 year old central air conditioning system replaced. The communication from the company was impressive. We always knew who was coming and when. They helped with the initial MassSave paperwork and even submitted all of the rebate paperwork for us when the install was complete. Good luck finding another company that will do the same. Our installers (Brian Heno and Dylan E.) arrived on time every day. They were professional, kept us updated on their progress and cleaned up daily. Two very hard working guys. They did a great job with the install. It looks and performs fantastic. We could not be happier with the system now that it is installed. We chose the correct company to work with. This is our second time having Rodenhiser complete a major install at our house. We had them install a furnace several years ago. I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs. Thank you."

"I typically get several estimates before any major expense. I do this to gather information as well as compare price and the people behind the websites. Two other companies were recommended to me by friends. Accurate was my third estimate. My previous furnace was installed by Accurate and serviced by Accurate so I was going to check with them before buying a new furnace. Accurate even showed up first thing one winter morning when the furnace didn't turn on. 



Each estimate said something a little different about which furnace to buy and how it should be installed. Derek from Accurate showed up on time and appeared to know the product and the installation requirements - including the expectations of the local building inspector. The building inspector has to approve the installation when it is finished. I honestly don't know if I chose the right furnace by purchasing a TRANE. I didn't want the most expensive model and I wasn't pressured to buy it. I did buy the pricey air  filter since a family member has allergies. 



The installation process went very smoothly. The man who spent all day doing the installation was low-key, friendly, and appeared to be doing a careful job. E.g., he didn't talk on his cell or blare a radio. Accurate arranged for the plumber to do the gas line hook up and the electrician to connect the new furnace and install a CO2 alarm. The plumber returned at a later date to show the finished job to the building inspector.



 It took a lot of time to learn about the new high efficiency furnaces, talk to friends about how they managed home heating issues, and then meet with contractors. Since it's such an expensive and long-term purchase, it's a tough decision. I decided to stay with Accurate based on past experience and I think it was the right call.

"95% well- driver/technician = excellent -professioal-polite ;eventhough we were last appt of day and he ran into a problem hat cost him time - he did not rush the job or take any shortcuts to my knowledge. clean the very end part of cleaning the dryer vent ran into a problem and could not be worked out as he reached a blockage and he queried me as to how much further he should go and I stopped him. It was dark and he could not see on the roof the kind of vent it was. As it turned out when we could get onto the roof to see -the vent was angkled and if he had gone farther thinking it was a birds nest ,etc., it probably would have meant damage to the inside of vent and the problem wold not have been resolved anyway. As it turned out someone had to go on the roof and physically remove the vent deris to clear it."

"I chose them because they had the highest number ( and score) of reviews, but after the service was provided I believe those reviews were fabricated. I am a new home owner and decided to try your services. I did not know much about duct or vent cleaning but after what I saw yesterday I decided to do some research online and that is when I realized I did not receive the services I thought I was paying for. Only 1 technician came with a small shop vacuum and a brush, and he was not able to do most of the work because. 1. We had Fibreglass ducts and he said his equipment was not suitable to clean this type of duct and that it would damage it. So he only "vacuumed" the area that his arms could get to, and did not examine the vent for damage or recommend any way to clean or fix the fiberglass. 2. He did not want to take the vent covers off the ceiling because he said he did not want to damage the sheetrock, so I'm not sure how he cleaned them. I think he only sprayed air into and around the vent 3. He didn't have any air filters with him, so I had to go out and try to buy them. They did not have the size I needed so I spent 1 hr driving around looking for them and could not see what he was doing at home. 4. They did not seal any of the vents nor did they have a negative pressure machine. He did not hook up to the main vent and told me he accessed it with a brush through an intake, which means that they did not fully take out all the dust from the main feeder. At first I was ok with his explanation, fine but then after doing research I realized that all he did was stick a brush in the room vent but did not seal the whole system, nor did he take off and clean the main duct. 5. He said he cleaned the dryer vent from Inside and Outside but I did not see any signs of him going outside as it was raining and he would have had to get the machine wet. 6. He had no other equipment other than a shop vacuum with a 4 inch hose. I'm not sure how deep he was able to get with that into the dryer vent. I really feel as if the work performed was not done correctly, and my ignorance was partly to blame. This company certainly did not have the right equipment to do the job and they didn't even use the correct procedure to seal the system to create a vacuum. This was definitely more of a $300 dollar job at most and not $600 dollars like they charged me."
