"Workers dropped construction trailer yesterday afternoon & began work this AM. Sergei (owner) stopped by and explained minor changes. Workers very professional & courteous. Bad weather pushed timetable back by a couple of weeks. However, Sergei stayed in touch by phone & stopped by with his framer to go over measurements. So far we are very pleased. Sergei mismeasured opening for storm door which is going to require a custom made door. He explained that he would absorb the additional cost. I admire his honesty. Project completed a few days ago except for storm door. Good job, workers cleaned up everything. Sergei stopped by to be sure we are satisfied & accepted partial payment until custom storm door is here & installed. We also had an issue with during heavy rain we had water leaking into the soffet which they repaired with a j channel. I would definitely use Alliance again for any outside projects or repairs."

"The job was done quickly efficiently and neatly in a 1903 house where leveling and a stiff floor was essential. Working on older houses can prove challenging. A previous contractor's job was so poor the tile had to be torn out and thrown away. The new installation looks like new construction, It is solid and level. Mr. Rodriguez was consistently polite and cooperative. He did preparation and cleanup work that was not required in the contract. He also made suggestions and did work that involved significant amounts of time and labor without asking for increased compensation. We have already asked him if he would undertake other projects with us."

"Highly highly recommend Absolute Garage Doors!   We wanted new garage doors, and needed new lift gate motors as one was broken and the other was on the outs.  We had a few different companies come out to give us quotes.  We had some guys that were complete salesmen, others that had no idea what they were talking about.  And then we met Sam.  He was so extremely nice, professional, and most importantly - knowledgable.  And not only that, but his prices were the best!  We knew right away that we would be using Sam to install our new garage doors.  And we couldn't be happier with the finished product.  He uses all of the best materials, changed out our hardware, lift gates, garage door buttons, and flashing around the doors.  He was courteous and efficient, and even threw in some small extras.  I would definitely use Sam again, and would recommend him to anyone that needs new doors or repairs.  Top notch!!"

"Jim first built the supports for the porch roof, he then removed the support pillars, the railing, the floor boards.  On inspection, the Beams and Joists were not to spec, he came and discussed replacing the beams and joists, and gave an estimate for the replacement.  On agreement, the lumber was ordered and provided.  The foundations were inspected after the removal of the framework, we had epected the beams and joists to be replaced, but not the foundations which were the original from around 100 years ago.  New foundations were placed with modern materials.  The work took just over two weeks and it was hot ... we only had to deal with Jim the owner, he provided a detail estimate at the start of the job, and detailed estimates for the add ons, all of which were detailed and within the budget.  The original estimate was $13,000, at the end with changes the final cost was just under $17,000 and worth every penny.  I will say we did not have to do anything, Jim worked with the city for permits, we just provided checks as needed.  Kim has followed up on his work letting us know when we need to oil the porch deck and wax the ends.  I would hire Jim for almost any job."

Start your search by calling Karol Kurkowski of KBK Construction and save yourself a lot of time. 9 times out of 10, he'll answer the phone! Who does that these days? Karol and/or Zibi were on site every day usually starting at 8:30am. Being an old house, nothing was square. It was necessary to pour a self-leveling concrete floor, which took a few days to dry. Even so, they completed the whole job, surprises and all, in under 2 weeks. Many people like tile. I'm not one of them. I wanted a MAAX 80" acrylic tub wall kit, from tub to ceiling. Who knew that it would be so difficult to find a contractor to install it? I'm so grateful that Karol agreed to and did a fine job. Besides doing quality work for a reasonable price, they were a pleasure to work with - always polite and conscientious, and cleaning up at the end of each day."
