"I have been using Advanced Environmental Solutions for over 18 years. Initially I had them take care of routine maintenance and repairs of my HVAC system. In 2018 I did over a $200,000 complete home renovation. I called upon AES to completely redo my single home HVAC to a 3-system installation. I also had them take care of upgrading my electrical panel and installing a new subpanel to support my new professional kitchen. Prior to doing the work, the team came to my house and did a complete survey of what would be required. Once done - John Davis came to my home and explained what they found, their recommendation and the best options and costs associated with my options. Once we get the right mix agreed upon, they set-up a schedule to do the work ensuring that we were not in anyway inconvenienced. We were thrilled with the work and professionalism of the team. My daughter decided to completely gut their home in 2018 and we called upon AES to take care of their home like ours. "Overall McCrea did a good job with my Sept 23, 2019, HVAC installation. The POSITIVES significantly outweigh the negatives: · They had the best price out of 6 proposals. · They agreed to add an additional HVAC return to the basement free of charge ($250). · They leveled my second old existing heat pump without asking...free of charge…I really liked that. · They told me that Fairfax county does a free inspection upon request. I’ve never had an installer tell me this…it is not in their interest to do so. The county inspection was primarily electrical but it was good to have even that independently reviewed. · They responded within 2 hours after I called about an installation problem. It turned out a condensate PVC pipe was installed wrong and tripped a cutoff switch. Everyone makes mistakes. I give them credit on this one because they responded quickly and repaired it quickly. · I requested a Trane and NATE certified installer and McCrea sent out Greg Dworchak who, along with 2 others did an excellent job. They were competent and friendly and answered all my questions very well. One NEGATIVE: · I liked the first sales person (Kris Kimmmel) who gave the initial proposal...very professional and friendly. My only concern was that he went on vacation and the follow up was slow. He did tell me he would be on vacation with limited email access. I emailed my intention to move forward on the proposal by the required date but the response was too late to get the significant Trane rebate. Weeks later I received a call from another representative (Chris Aiani) and he provided an acceptable proposal although it was a lower SEER unit (XR14) instead of the XR16i I originally wanted. Chris apologized to me about this and said they were re-organizing to provide more sales support and that this should not happen again."

"I hired Tom Noland about 22 yrs ago to put a heating and air conditioner system in my house in Nokesville. He did a great job back then. When I moved to Delaplane I contacted Tom and his company again to do some work on my house. I wanted a geothermal heating system in and they were willing to do it, but as Tom explained the new systems out there I would get a better deal going in a different direction. Sean and Matt and all the other guys who have come out to do the install of the new hvac system , hot water heater, pressure tank and generator have been great. They arrive on time they have gone the extra step to make everything go as smoothly as possible. Every guy here has been conscientious about making sure any dust or debris doesnâ t get on my carpets. The hvac system, pressure tank and hot water heater are in. The hvac system works so well that have the temperature raises seven degrees above where I had my other unit at, because it works so efficiently. I would hire them again if I needed some work done. The price is worth it."

My old system was 20 years old so that the heat pump and inside air handler had to be replaced. Also replaced the thermostat for good measure.
