"Expert installation with the contractor choosing a great mini split unit which surpassed my expectations. Contractor showed respect for the property and left the job site clean and ordered. Would definitely hire the company again."

"I had not previously dealt with All Phases Mechanical we were in the dregs of a awful heat wave when the AC went down..miserable. I had spent much money with The company that I used for 20 years they told me they would not be out for 4 days on a Saturday & because it was a Saturday would charge me a $500 premium or I could with until the middle of the following week. At 9:00 AM the same day I called Carl at All Phases Mechanical he sharpened his pencil gave me an estimate ,, sourced my replacement condenser... his very qualified experienced lead man Henry was exceptionally polite and knowledgeable. My AC system was up and running the same day by 4:00 PM Exceptional response and installatio . All Phases is my new company I highly recommend them"

"My basement recently took on water during the March rains. The wall to wall carpeting and pad in the finished portion of the basement had to be removed. Having had Stephen perform some demo work and trash removal in the past, I was already comfortable with his pricing and quality of work. I called Stephen and told him I needed him asap and he was there the next morning. He worked most of the day tearing up the carpet and removing the tack strips. The carpet pad was glued down in some places which made removal more difficult. On top of that, Stephen had to work around a couch, desk, chair, refrigerator and other items. When he finished removing the carpet, I also had Stephen remove 2 futon frames & mattresses, 2 toilets, a glass shower door and some other junk I wanted out of the house. Stephen swept up after all his work and left the place clean. He called me down a couple times to make sure the work he was doing was meeting my expectations. I would highly recommend hiring Stephen for any type of demo or cleanup work. He works hard and clean and he respects your property"

"I chose them because they had the highest number ( and score) of reviews, but after the service was provided I believe those reviews were fabricated. I am a new home owner and decided to try your services. I did not know much about duct or vent cleaning but after what I saw yesterday I decided to do some research online and that is when I realized I did not receive the services I thought I was paying for. Only 1 technician came with a small shop vacuum and a brush, and he was not able to do most of the work because. 1. We had Fibreglass ducts and he said his equipment was not suitable to clean this type of duct and that it would damage it. So he only "vacuumed" the area that his arms could get to, and did not examine the vent for damage or recommend any way to clean or fix the fiberglass. 2. He did not want to take the vent covers off the ceiling because he said he did not want to damage the sheetrock, so I'm not sure how he cleaned them. I think he only sprayed air into and around the vent 3. He didn't have any air filters with him, so I had to go out and try to buy them. They did not have the size I needed so I spent 1 hr driving around looking for them and could not see what he was doing at home. 4. They did not seal any of the vents nor did they have a negative pressure machine. He did not hook up to the main vent and told me he accessed it with a brush through an intake, which means that they did not fully take out all the dust from the main feeder. At first I was ok with his explanation, fine but then after doing research I realized that all he did was stick a brush in the room vent but did not seal the whole system, nor did he take off and clean the main duct. 5. He said he cleaned the dryer vent from Inside and Outside but I did not see any signs of him going outside as it was raining and he would have had to get the machine wet. 6. He had no other equipment other than a shop vacuum with a 4 inch hose. I'm not sure how deep he was able to get with that into the dryer vent. I really feel as if the work performed was not done correctly, and my ignorance was partly to blame. This company certainly did not have the right equipment to do the job and they didn't even use the correct procedure to seal the system to create a vacuum. This was definitely more of a $300 dollar job at most and not $600 dollars like they charged me."

"When my desk top computer failed I called Mr Ferrell. His response time was excellent; arriving at my home the same day I called.
He called me back that evening to update me on what he found. He replaced the power supply and did a virus scan and returned the computer to my home within 48 hours. I found him to be computer savy and very friendly. If we have computer issues in the future I will contact Mr Ferrell.

"Very well: the ducts were filled with dust, dirt, and construction debris and now they are clean and shown to be so with their air duct camera. The technician was friendly, professional, and knowledgable. I'd highly recommend hiring them right after buying a house, especially if it is new construction. Also, if you have new filters on hand, they will install them for you after they are done. They have transparent pricing, you can pay online in advance, and I received a discount for doing so in April."

"I had a lot of additional cost. It ended up at $1500. They only cleaned three, for the big deal. And then, I had a thing that they put in to make sure that the air stays clean. They said I had a humidifier on my furnace and they said that it had to come off. And then, they said you can get a much better one and then they kind of disappeared and they didn't talk about it or really sit down and have a conversation with me. I'm not even sure why they had to take it off or what they did."

"Recently had a new steam oil boiler installed by Norm and Cory. They did a great job...got it done in a very timely manner. They were extremely professional, and everyone i dealt with at their company was extremely nice. They also installed a new WiFi thermostat, fixed a valve on one of my radiators, and leveled all of my radiators that weren’t level. I am very happy with All of the work done. They do a great job."

"I've decided to do the work myself with some help from my son. The price was way more than I thought it would be and I could use some natural materials and spend less money. The representative from the company was professional and knew his product but, over $ 14,000 for a tub/shower replacement was way more than I wanted to spend."

"We own a 14 story 270 unit apartment building in Philadelphia. The existing boiler system was retrofitted to a 1980s heating distribution system originally designed and installed in the mid 1950s. Due to the anticipated retirement of our onsite building engineer, who kept this system in good working order, we needed a complete analysis of the system to insure a reliable supply of heat and hot water to our tenants for the future. Therefore, we engaged a local licensed engineer to design a replacement program and obtain competitive bids.I invited Brad Morawski of Comfort Control Mechanical to attend the initial bid meeting as our consultant to get his input on the project. I had worked with Brad Morawski on four large and relatively complicated residential projects and become familiar with his thoughtful approach and analysis to each systems design requirements in addition to his grasp and knowledge of current technology. Having reviewed the plans for Park Heights Apartments modernization program, Brad immediately questioned the designs $1,000,000 plus cost and relatively small projected operating savings of $30,000 for the first year. The process consisted of Brad visiting facilities in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts to help us select the best equipment for our building. Working with one of the local Philadelphia suppliers, Brad had the replacement system redesigned to save more than 40% of the projected cost while achieving the same projected operating cost target. During this process Brad identified a significant domestic hot water problem that could have resulted in the scalding of residents. Not only was the issue corrected but Brads solution increased our DHW storage capacity at the same time. His proposal was incorporated into the modernization program with very little additional cost. Brad coordinated construction of the project with site visits and constant communication between our on-site staff and the tradesmen. He monitored progress from demolition through installation, to training on and commissioning of the new equipment. Several times during the process we were able to make educated decisions and solve minor problems with Brads help in a timely fashion. In the end not only did his value engineering approach save us hundreds of thousands of dollars in direct cost but we exceeded our anticipated operating savings in the first year. All done on time, with a great team, and under budget!"

FAQs for central humidifier installation and replacement projects in Stockbridge, MA

A crawl space dehumidifier is a worthwhile investment, particularly in humid climates or if you've noticed musty odors, mold growth, or wood deterioration. Though costs range from $3,000 to $9,200, this investment helps prevent structural damage that could require far more expensive repairs later. Beyond structural protection, a properly dehumidified crawl space contributes to better overall indoor air quality and may reduce allergens throughout your home. Consider having a professional assessment to determine if your specific situation warrants this investment.

Addressing crawl space moisture effectively often requires a combination of solutions. A complete approach includes encapsulation plus dehumidifier installation. For minor moisture issues, a basic dehumidifier starting at $1,500 may suffice, while severe problems in larger spaces could require systems costing up to $14,000. The most effective moisture control strategy depends on your specific conditions, making a professional assessment valuable for determining the most cost-effective approach for your situation.

For a crawl space measuring 1,500 square feet, you'll need a dehumidifier with a daily capacity of 30 to 50 pints, with unit costs ranging from $150 to $600. Your local climate and existing moisture levels may necessitate adjusting this capacity—homes in particularly humid regions might benefit from higher-capacity units. Professional installers can measure your specific humidity conditions and recommend equipment that is appropriately sized, balancing initial cost with operating efficiency for your unique situation.

Crawl space dehumidifiers add $300 to $500 to your annual electricity expenses when operating continuously. Energy-efficient models reduce this consumption by roughly 15 to 30% compared to standard units. Most contemporary dehumidifiers feature humidity sensors that automatically cycle operation based on current conditions, helping manage energy usage. Proper crawl space encapsulation significantly improves efficiency by creating a controlled environment that requires less dehumidifier runtime, thereby reducing ongoing electricity costs.
