"While the materials and communication was good, unfortunately there were some things that left a bad taste and I am not sure I would use them again. While there were some issues that they are addressing quickly, like replacing a part of the door they changed because a piece was smothered with white silicone, and also replacing a panel that was broken when they capped the trim outside my home, and they destroyed my big rosemary bush. I'm baffled as to why they didn't notify me at the moment and instead I had to wait until the walk-through to find out. The forklift person who came to pick up some material that wasn't used left a hole in my driveway. I just sent them some pictures, but haven't heard back, but hopefully this looks like it will be repaired. I am also not happy with how the door looks after the install and the reply from the QA walk-through was 'that is how we seal all the doors'. I appreciate that the amount of clear silicone used will prevent leaks and bugs, it looks like someone watched a whole bunch of YouTube videos and at the end some measurement went wrong and the mistake was covered up with an uneven line of silicone. Time will tell how long the silicone will hold against concrete. "My primary complaint is cost and not service. The service provided was very good. Precision Garage Doors were able to come out promptly on the next day (Saturday) after I called them at 4pm on a Friday. The technician replaced the torsion springs and even repaired a few minor items on our garage doors at no additional charge. The technician was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. That being said, the price that they charged for the torsion spring parts. The labor charges seemed reasonable, but they wanted to charge $250 for *each* torsion spring. I could not find online anywhere where a torsion spring cost more than about half of that ($125). When asked why these torsion springs cost so much, the technician was sort of vague. In following up with the company, I generally got the run-around. They could not provide the manufacturer's part number, and the manufacturer that they use only sells wholesale and will not disclose the price that they charge. No one could really justify the outrageous price that they were charging for the parts, but I needed my garage door fixed as soon as possible, and I didn't have time that weekend to fix it myself due to other obligations. Overall, if you want the problem fixed promptly and properly, and don't mind spending a lot of money, then Precision Garage Doors will do the job for you. If you are handy enough to install torsion springs yourself, you would save a ton of money."

He also explained the performance differences and cost differences. I decided to give it a try. The order took exactly the amount of time they predicted. Eric and his crew installed the windows very professionally. I noticed one of the windows was not level compared with other windows. Eric explained that it was because of the weight of the laminated glass window, and the frame itself, which is not square. However, he took extra effort to help me adjust it to a good balance.
