"Jose and his crew replaced my existing single phase system with a new variable speed system that is quieter and more energy efficient. Jose's quote was the least expensive of four offers I received for similar 3 ton variable speed systems. They got me on their schedule within two business days after I agreed to move forward. The installation took a bit longer than I or they expected, but they got it done and did not charge any extras. On the second day the system wasn't cooling as expected. I let Sherman (the technician who installed it) know and he came out the same day to address the issue. He made the fix, admitting that he had wired the system for a different 14 SEER rating when it was a 16 SEER one. I've had no issues the past week and I am very happy with the new system. I will be using J and Andy's to service my other system, and I would definitely recommend them."

The HVAC configuration in the attic was either original equipment, poorly patched work, or equipment that was not compatible with the new air conditioner. "Excellent and professional technicians. Explained everything thoroughly. Overall, they did a good job. The carpet seemed to be wetter than I'm used to after a professional cleaning. And, there were two small areas of carpet (one upstairs and one downstairs) that had a smell after they were done cleaning that was not present before cleaning. I hesitate to call the smell odors as it smelled more like the previous homeowner may have spot treated an area for pet odors (Nature's Miracle?) and what I was smelling was the residual product brought up as a result of cleaning. In most cases the cleaning should have eliminated any residual product, but the carpet and padding in this particular room is rather old, so maybe that contributed to the problem. They guarantee their work, and will come out and re-address any areas of concern. Since we plan to replace the carpets very soon, we didn't request a follow up visit."
