"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.

"They were professional and the amount of time they quoted was exactly what it took to install my A/C. We saved money by using them. The first company, a very large and tv advertised company that came to our home was not able to identify the exact problem. They stated that the unit needed a circuit board or perhaps after installing a circuit board it could need a new motor. We had to pay $89.00 for an for an incorrect diagnosis. "That was not a happy experience.  They were very hard to reach.  They contacted me and ask me when they would come and take advantage of the deal.  I emailed them back, they didn’t respond.  I emailed them again and I emailed them again.  The third time I emailed them, I said, if I don’t hear from you within 24 hours, I’m going to cancel through Angie’s List.  Somebody called and left a message.  I called the next morning and the phone was disconnected.  I had somebody else on the phone, he said I was crazy to think the phone was disconnected because it wasn’t but it was.  Somebody called me and they arrange to come.  The finally did come.  They did what they were supposed to do on the chimney but we had an inspector come in because we are selling the house.  They missed something important that I have to fix.  They apparently didn’t do the job of doing the crown which I paid extra for.  I’m going to have to pay another chimney service to do that.  I am happy with them at all.  They said I need to replace a dent and they did ask $400 more and they supposedly fixed the crown of the chimney for another $125 but it turned out that they did not do such a good job on that.  The crown wasn’t good.  I expected them to find extra things to do but I expect them to do them right."

"We've got American Home Shield. So that kinda varies but united air temp has done some work for us. Probably a couple years ago, I think so. I think its two years ago. They did work on our air conditioning. Well you know with American Home Shield you only pay $75.00. You sign up for a year , its like something you subscribe to.  You call and contact American Home Shield and they have somebody contact you whose in line with their services and agrees to work with them. You pay $75.00 and if its not done correctly for each visit but if they come back twice you don't pay again. Its like 400 and something a year. Its fabulous, its fabulous. If you need plumbing , H VAC, lighting, its amazing. Its worth every dime. And if they can't fix it they replace it at no charge unless you want to upgrade There are some different companies but even when we refinanced our house they had us, no we bought another house in Winchester for our son. And they made us have it in with our policy and they use American Home shield. its fabulous and you don't have to do the searching or anything, If you aren't happy you just tell American Home shield. One time United Air Temp tried to talk us into , they did some plumbing work too, and they were going try to talk us into replacing it with a cheap model. That isn't American Home Shield policy its with the same thing or you can pay to upgrade. Pay the balance of an upgrade. We use it all the time. When my son has issues with his house I tell him just call American Home Shield. They guarantee they will be out within 72 hrs but its usually within 24 hours. We contacted them last week about my son's air conditioning. They came out right away, they had to order something. They had to come back out and they did last Wednesday and they fixed it."

"EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL SERVICE!  Called them cold on a Sunday night from my DC home to repair many shingle caps that had blown off the peak of our roof of our townhome in OC- I could see daylight from the attic and the insulation was wet.  They were on my roof Monday morning, in the rain, fixing it completely.  They took before and after photos on the roof so I could see exactly what they had done. They also replaced a cracked vent pipe boot.

"Hired for air duct cleaning but mold was discovered and pointed out to us.  With young children in the house, we wanted to attack this problem right away so we immediately negotiated a price.  The primary contact was a bit difficult to understand due to language differences and I'm not confident we got a good price, but we were very satisfied with the quality of the work.  They were very timely and the full service took an hour or so.  My recommendation is to check for signs for mold before you order any air duct cleaning services.
