"After meeting with this plumber at the house that I had just bought 45 miles from where I currently live, I felt comfortable letting him have access to the house unsupervised the next day to perform several jobs. He ran into a snag in the crawl space that involved a sudden leak in a pipe that added about an hour and a half to the job, and he was unreachable on his cell phone the whole time. This made me very anxious (I was afraid something had happened to him). When he finally called me back, he had already left the premises without checking my voicemails and text messages giving him instructions on how to leave the house, so he had to go back. He sent me only two photos--one from a major job and one showing another job that he says needs to be done. He made me anxious and confused by insisting that I needed to buy a very expensive and space-guzzling triple-tank water filtration system that I'm not certain that I need (I probably need to neutralize the PH). His prices are very high compared to those charged by plumbers in Culpeper (he's based in Warrenton, but advertises in Culpeper), plus I've already spent a fortune bringing this house up to snuff, so I am somewhat uncertain about hiring this plumber again. When I went back to the house the other day, about a week or so later, I discovered a big mess in my kitchen, possibly a work of sabotage perpetrated by the plumber whom I had previously fired, which added to my already-huge burden of cleaning and scrubbing. He is a very personable young man, always courteous and respectful, and very knowledgeable about plumbing."
