"I needed 2 dryer vents cleaned - one on the 2nd floor and a vent cap replaced (also on the 2nd floor). All the companies I initially contacted would not do the job for a variety of reason. Superior did all the work I needed plus replaced the dryer hose on one unit (which we had not discussed). Additionally, I had purchased a vent cap but it did not fit. Superior had one on the truck which did fit and they got the job done! Excellent service!"

"Steve returned my initial call promptly and came over the same day for a rough estimate. I wasn't quite sure yet when I needed the work, Steve was fine with that, and gave me an estimate. As soon as my landscapers were ready to have the place cleared, I called Steve and he scheduled me in for a week later. When he came, he showed up exactly when he said he would (6:45 AM to make sure to scope out the place properly before his crew showed up), and made sure that he understood exactly what I wanted. Throughout the two days of work, Steve called me to check in and to make sure that he was doing the job the way I wanted it. There were no problems at all, and Steve even called and emailed after the job to make sure I was happy with his work. The yard was cleared perfectly, and for a reasonable price, and there was no debris, dirt, or anything left anywhere."

"The service went great. The owner came out for the job. He was very efficient and completed the work in about 15 minutes. He were punctual. I felt reassured that I will not have a house fire from the dryer vents now. I had no problem at all with scheduling the service and they were very responsive. I even referred them to my sister and she was equally impressed."

"Excellent job. I have been in my house for 14 yrs and have not had a real duct cleaning job since I've been here. I suffer from severe allergies, with a high allergic reaction to mold. Well needless to say, I've been living with the mold in my vents for a very long time. Once my ducts were cleaned and treated, I immediately noticed the air quality difference in my home. My allergies have subsided significantly. I am very pleased with the service AND most of all the price."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"We were updating our gutters prior to winter, getting them cleaned out and making sure all the downspout were functional.  I explained this to the company after I purchased their Big Deal.  They did explain to me that this sort of work was not their primary type of service that they offered but they would be able to the work.  I wasn't available to have them come out right when I purchased the deal and they told me to just call them when I was ready.  I had to go out of town for some business, and when I left the weather was nice.  By the time I got back, shortly after this, big winter storms had arrived and dumped a lot of snow on us.  My son and I ended up cleaning up the gutters ourselves since I knew the company would not be able to.  I let them know that I did the gutter cleaning and they asked if there was any other work inside the home that I might need to have done to use the deal instead.  Since it was winter and we would not be able to air out the house from any remodeling work I declined to have them come to do any work during the winter months.  I then came to find out via and Angie's List request for an update on how the work went that they had advised Angie's List that they completed the work for me and were paid for the deal I purchased.  I discussed this with the company and they apologized for accidentally telling Angie's List they completed the work and once again tried to find some projects inside the home once again, which I again declined since we were still in winter months without being able to air out the house from any construction dust/dirt. I do still plan on using their service once the weather is nicer."

FAQs for swamp cooler service or repair projects in Warwick, MA

A well-maintained swamp cooler can last between 10 and 15 years. Its longevity depends on usage frequency, water quality, and proper care. Regular maintenance, like winterization and protective measures, can preserve your system's efficiency and prevent premature breakdowns, ensuring reliable cooling performance over its lifespan. Hiring a professional to take care of any repairs over your swamp cooler’s lifespan will ensure it’s restored to proper functioning and can help it last longer.

You should consider replacing your swamp cooler if it shows signs of severe corrosion, inadequate maintenance, advanced age, restricted airflow, or ongoing leaks. When repair costs and performance inefficiencies make restoration impractical, replacement may be the best option. Evaluating these issues with a professional ensures you choose the most effective solution, preserving comfort and cost efficiency while avoiding further deterioration of the system.
