However, Ryan called me when the new storm door came in and we set up a date for the work to be done. Ryan worked very quickly and he kept everything very clean. (My wife loves a contractor who brings his own vacuum.) He did a first rate job. He even came back after the silicone sealant dried and washed the windows. Great service is rare, Kirch does an amazing job of being responsive and making sure that everything is done to the customer's full satisfaction. Composite decks are expensive, it doesn't matter who you get a quote from. BUT it does matter who is installing the deck, whether or not they are pro, timely and responsive should you need follow up. Kirch checks all of these boxes. Our deck is beautiful, we get a lot of compliments and I have full confidence that we'll enjoy it for years and years to come. Examples - when first reaching out to Kirch, the owners were on vacation. They STILL responded to me via email and then did a short call to get an idea of the project we were considering. We've had two minor follow-ups on the deck - Jaclyn (has always) responded immediately to emails I sent her and John was back at the house ASAP. We went through multiple iterations of deck design and colors. Jaclyn was more than patient with us and provided 3D renderings of all the designs helping us make decisions. John and his crew were on schedule, clean and respectful. The price is what it is. If you are considering an Azek deck, you already know they are pricey vs. alternatives.
