"The Evolution of Contractors were quick to respond to my request for a quote to replace the railings, treads, and porch area of my dad's front landing, which at that point had rotted out railings and failing treads. They did not try to upsell me and gave a clear quote for both wood and composite materials. There was zero pressure.Communication was always clear, friendly, and timely. "Coen was responsive during storms and as thorough as any of the other vendors we've tried. The team was responsive to feedback and kept us safe through the worst winter. We needed to do some detail work ourselves to make sure vents were clear but Coen took care of the heavy lifting. It took awhile to lock in a final contract - Scott was very responsive in sending an initial draft but took some following up to get the clarifications we were looking for. "Eoin "Owen" and his crew, Michael (carpenter) and Leo, started around Sept 10 and proceeded to do extensive sanding, scraping, and caulking of home exterior, which took a few days to complete to prepare all surfaces for primer and paint....that attention to detail in prepping all surfaces was something that impressed me, as well as the fact that they didn't rely on power washing or blasting the wood with water.  Then Michael repaired extensive wood rot at windows and corner boards (payment worked out separately with Michael).    Once prepped and repaired, an oil based primer was applied, then two coats of stain or paint on siding, front clapboards, trim, shutters, and doors.  The entire process was completed on Sept 18 and I'm very pleased with the result. Not only is the paint job meticulous, but they also did an excellent job of cleanup, leaving all areas clean, including washing all the windows and even freshening up the deck with a quick coat of stain, which made for a gorgeous finished look.   Owen and crew were hardworking, left no detail missed with the overall result being a superior paint job.   I highly recommend them!

"Jim was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was a consummate pro, listened well and asked questions, and it was obvious that he and his coworker Steve take a lot of pride in their work. We had him demolish and completely rebuild a 22' x 6' front porch for our 105 year old house. It's not always easy to fit something new onto something old, from the overall spacing to connecting with the existing brick staircase and porch roof, given the code requirements of 2019. Jim had no problems, and in cases where we had to unexpectedly do things - like whoops cover that previously existing, but now with the new Azek, some very old-looking flashing, etc. he had some great ideas - new strips, some mouldling. The fit and finish on the porch were great, no visible deck-board ends, using multiple end pieces to avoid extra cuts of the long azek deck boards, etc....And all were discussed and decided upon together in a low pressure and professional style. Jim's also not afraid to admit when something isn't his strength or not something he's good at. That's a rare and valuable skill and extremely useful to any potential client. Would gladly use again and recommend to friends."

"We could not be happier with Brandon's work, punctuality, cleanliness, personality, communication, honesty, pricing, and overall character. We actually had contracted to do some extra work for a few thousand. Day 1 of the job, Brandon calls to let us know that we do not need to do the work as he took the time and effort to get other opinions on the installation of a beam. Again, character. He could have easily installed, but he took the time to do right by his customer and that, in our experience, is essentially unheard of. The work he completed for us-on schedule-was more than we could have hoped for.
