"I started noticing that it was costing more to operate after the other company came out to do a 6 month clean/service on the unit. In the spring, the unit was not cooling the house. I called the other company, and the same guy came out. He explained to me that a bunch of costly items had failed and that the unit needed to be replaced. The service guy had the sales people on the phone almost immediately. I had Mike Hoff come out to give me an estimate on a replacement, but he mentioned that he wanted to look at the unit first. After looking at the writeup from the other company he noticed that the most expensive items on the "defective" list couldn't be checked without Freon in the system. He recommended recharging the system with Freon (with a dye added) so that we could see where the leak was coming from. Unit worked fine ever since. 2 years later we sold the home without ever having any more problems with the so-called unrepairable unit. Thanks Mike!"
