"The only company in the Cincinnati area that offered me the correct product! Every other company, large scale and independent, was incompetent. THEY ALL TRIED TO SELL ME A HEAT PUMP EVEN THOUGH IT IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH MY LINE SET (1/4in). I spoke to 10 companies total. Hill-Air was the only valid choice."

"These guys, or their technicians anyway, started out AMAZING!!!! Since then complete 180 and ripped off and ignored. I had them install and new HVAC system. It's gone out once a year (3 times now) since install. So far about 1k out of pocket for labor repairs for a "loose wire" .... The last time the tech did the wire repair, and charged 600 without authorizing the repair first, it's already fixed, here's the bill..... As soon as you get a service you get an automated text from the owner, saying please call if you have any questions or concerns.... Well this time I did, so I called, after 2 weeks of calling I finally got him on the phone. Basically said, "Hmmmn that does seem unusual, and the repair cost sounds way too high. Let me touch base with the tech and find out a little more info, then I'll call you back and try to figure it out from there. If nothing else, you were probably overcharged and we'll refund the difference." Well that was November, so I'm not thinking he'"

"Beware, the price charge was not what I was quoted. The person told me that I was on the clock from the time he left the previous location, not when he arrived to start the work. I couldn’t believe it. I was given no receipt and was told that it would be mailed to me… I still have not received the receipt."

"Very well. The plumber, Dick and apprentice, provided advice as to what exactly needed to be done and worked efficiently to install each of the parts. Some of the parts were provided by us (basement utility tub and faucet, master bathroom showerhead, laundry room faucet) with the remainder being provided by Beresford. At the contractor's recommendation, we added shut off valves to both utility tubs and new hot and cold water lines to the laundry room utility tub."

"It went very well! Tim came to the apartment and looked at the issue. He told me that he will place the order for the new and more efficient unit than the old boiler and install asap. Tim's crew came the following Monday to demolish the old boiler and installed the new boiler on the same day. The new boiler was up and running on the same day. It was a smooth startup!"

"They are a really good company. When you call for an appointment they are very good to meet my schedule. I have had a few questions about our new system, the office staff works to make sure my question is answered. Chris installed our new heatpump system about 5 years ago, and he continues to do the regular maintenance on it. He does a great job. He calls when he is on his way. He does a very thorough job making sure our system stays running properly. He is also just an all around really nice guy."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Williamsburg, OH

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
