Jeff gave price we agreed and were told someone would be out in week or two. next day guy came out and did the work. couldn't ask for better action. told roof would last 4 to 5 years and that was a pleasant surprise as every one around us having new roofs ."

"We engaged Clean Hands Painting to paint the exterior of our house in the summer of 2018. I was immediately impressed by Junior at our first meeting. He showed great attention to detail and gave us a very fair estimate. Junior and his co-worker, Ephraim, were meticulous and cleaned up after themselves at each step along the way. They were the cleanest painters we have ever had work on our house. They pressure cleaned the house, repainted the wood, the metal railing, outdoor shutters and the front door. They also cleaned and stained the deck, which required replacing several of the boards that had rotted away. They carefully sanded the areas around the windows and repainted them. Additionally, they worked around our schedule, which was a huge help for us. They were responsive to all our calls and texts. The quality of all of the work was outstanding and I would not hesitate to hire them again for any outdoor or indoor project."

"Gary the Handyman really came through for us. We had a situation where our front storm door broke and was stuck in the frame with the deadbolt locked. The door itself was fine but the handle/lock needed replaced. The day of the repair went very smoothly and Gary's assistant had the door out, repaired, and put back in no time. The cost was very reasonable and was a big cost savings to me as the alternative would have been getting a brand new door installed."

This is an update on my prior review below regarding the concerned issues that I had.  Having no choice but to write the first review, apparently helped him to understand my position and hopefully made him realize the importance of good customer service.  Being said, Gregory responded on my review that he was willing to come back out and resolve things.  I was happy to email him to work out a convenient time to come back and try to make things right.  I'm happy to say that his cooperation was great and the job looks so much better.  I can now post the nice job that he did and would recommend his services.  Thank you again, Gregory, for coming back two more times to make things more functional and a nice appearance.

Due to the tile walls being a little off, as far as alignment, this caused some issues with the glass door not fitting properly.  The gaps on each side were too wide and wasn't straight at the top of the door.  They came back and tried to re-align things.  I looked at the door and things were much better, but the door would not stay open when you would swing it inside the shower or outside the shower.  He said this was the best he could do, so I told him I didn't like that, but agreed to finish paying the balance on the bill.  I felt like the whole enclosure needed to be revamped or something to make it right.  As I began to clean up things in the master bath, I was wiping down the shower and glass and noticed this plastic piece that was wedged up on one side of my framing at the top, between glass and frame.  Then I saw where they used silicone to push one of the front glasses outward at the top of the framing, so it would line up with my shower door.  There was also a strip of hard clear plastic stuck up under the plastic piece where the door is attached at the bottom.  It created a popping noise everytime you would swing the door back and forth.  I tried calling the guy the same day, texting him, and emailing him regarding these things that he didn't point out to me at the completion of the job.  I tried to reach him several times, even left a voice message.  I have not had one response from him, so I'm real disappointed in him and the fact that I was kind enough to pay him, but also knew that he would stand by his work, as I was told from the beginning.  Yes, I found him right here on Angie's List, so I'm not so sure I could recommend this company to anyone.  If you can't return calls to good honest customers and want to make things right, then you don't need to be listed here on Angie's List.  No doubt, this guy knew he didn't tell me about these things so NO,  I do not like anything in my home being "rigged" up, as you could say.  It's just a tacky job.  So, here it is July 14th and I still have no response.  I am really disappointed with this company.

"We hired Churchill Painting and Renovations to paint our house and we would hire them again. We worked with Cary, the owner, and his son, Anthony. They gave us an estimate and promised no hidden fees, which they stuck too! It took a crew of 4-6 guys two days to complete the project. The crew was great! They did find some rot under the siding on our chimney. Anthony and Cary personally came out to look at it. Cary explained the issue to us in great detail. He quoted how much it would be to fix it, but did not pressure us to make a decision in the moment. He is also writing up his professional opinion about the rot so we can talk to our contractor who did the work three years ago. Cary and Anthony are good guys to work with. They both look you in the eyes and shake your hand. They are straight shooters. They did the work we hired them to do at the price they quoted and they also gave us some advice for down the line. But, again, never pressured us! We are hoping to hire them again when we decide to replace our old french doors."
