"From the first meeting with Matt when he gave us a timeline and our estimate, through the install and the walk through of finished work, it was all very well done. The installers were very polite and made sure that any flooring that they would be walking on or bringing out the old water heater on were completely covered to protect from any dirt or water. Any time we went to see if they needed anything they would tell us what they had gotten done and what they were working on. Not once were they short or put out as some people are when you are curious about what is going on in your house. "Dana and his team did a great job preparing our house for move in. The team thoroughly cleaned the dryer duct line that had not been properly cleaned for several years; they cleaned out a high fire risk. They also installed two high quality vent guards to prevent birds and other critters from accessing the dryer duct and first floor bathroom exhaust duct. The team also cleaned the HVAC ducts on our house. They identified some mold in a few of the lines and replaced one of the worst lines. They also pointed out a couple of issues with the HVAC transitions that had tears in the flex line that exposed insulation and some mold on the interior insulation in a metal transition duct for the upstairs HVAC system; both were recommended for replacement or repair by a certified HVAC mechanic. Upon completion, they back-fogged each duct, replaced all vents (28 in total), filled gaps between the metal vent and ceilings on the second floor (should have been done when the house was constructed in 2003), and sanitized both HVAC zones. The mold, issues with the transitions and gaps between the metal vent openings and ceiling holes were not note by the home inspector prior to closing, and were not disclosed by the previous homeowner. Total cost for all the work was around $3300. While the price might seem high, the quality and thoroughness of the work completed, the professionalism and efficiency of the crew, and the large volume of work (cleaned 28 vent lines plus the the main trunk for each of two zones) was very reasonable for the time required and the labor quality. In our prior home, I used another local company who advertises through ValuePak to clean the ducts. Following their service I had issues with collapsed HVAC duct lines afterward that caused icing on the AC unit. Initially, the other company was significantly cheaper, but their work was shoddy, their technician was not as careful and diligent, and ended up costing about the same on a smaller house due to the problems caused by the cleaning. I highly recommend Dana and Airight. I will definitely be calling on them again for dryer vent line and duct cleaning in the future."

"Called company and they were able to send someone out that day. Person I spoke with mentioned a $65 fee to diagnose the washer and ~$30 something to diagnose issue with dishwasher. I agreed. Tech came out on time and was able to quickly identify the issue with the washer (shocks needed to be replaced at a cost of $244). He then took a look at the dishwasher and fixed it on the spot within 5 minutes (the dishwasher was falling slightly out when you pulled out rack and he just had to raise the feet of the dishwasher). He said the cost to repair the dishwasher was $65 because there were no parts used. I thought I should be charged the ~$30 something fee. But he explained that was the policy so I reluctantly paid. 
The part for the washer was to take a few days and they were able to fix the washer once the part came in. Overall, I was pleased that they were able to fix the problems promptly and the tech was friendly and knowledgeable, but thought I should not have been charged so much for fixing the dishwasher, especially after I was told the service charge was $30 something for the second appliance they were to diagnose.

"When we were looking for someone to install a new furnace and a/c unit that were the same brand name and newer than our 20 year old mix matched system, we looked at three different places. Smileys was one of them. The other two were big name companies who sent over their comfort specialist out to see me with the fancy binders and all talk. Mr Smiley himself came out to see me and he was the only one who noticed the return on the second story was on the floor and not helping the house in any way. Plus the other two companies could not match the price I was maxed at for anything. He provided me a Tran system and a promise it would be done in a week from our conversation because that was when I could get off work to be home with everyone. He send 3 workers to the house and they were on time and as nice as they could be. They never stopped working from 8:00AM until they were done at 4:30PM. They disposed of the old items and did a great job installing the systems. I could never be happier with it and we have noticed a huge difference since the upgrade! I would highly recommend Smiley's over any big company name. He is not about billboards, commercials, or signs in your yard.. he is about getting the job done and in hope that someone will brag about it.

"Pleased with service and equipment installed. Arrived a little late first day, weather halted work late that afternoon, so they had to come back and worked a full second day. So, it took a little longer than planned, but all good in the end. Obtained quotes from two other businesses for comparable equipment/installation; Rose Bros. quoted best price."

"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.

"After being told by a number of workers (i.e. electrician and Verizon guy) that it felt really cold under our house, we purchased the Angie's List promotion for an air duct inspection thinking we only needed a few patches. I was able to schedule the inspection for that same week and as it turns out, we needed our entire air duct system replaced. The ducts were damaged and laying on the ground under our house. They'd also (apparently) been invaded by rodents and/or snakes. Fun! The inspector gave a quote right then and there and scheduled the job to start the next day. He said it would most likely take 4 days to complete and we'd be without air conditioning for one day while they sanitized the crawl space. The guys from ADC got started the next morning and in just two short days, we were all set! The workers were polite and professional the entire time they were at our home. They sent pictures of the work when it was fully installed. Overall, we are happy with the speed of the service and their professionalism from start to finish."
