"If you don’t want to deal with BS, Ted is your guy. He shows up and works hard. He does all the work himself, and he does a good job. The quality of his tile work is definitely expert level. His pricing is very transparent, as he provides an itemized list for everything he charges for. He’s just a real solid, old school type of guy that you can trust to do what he says he is going to do. He’s also very up front about anything that he doesn’t feel qualified to do. He keeps his job site clean and hauls off all the debris and waste. He’s very flexible and easy to work with. I messed up and bought the wrong kind of tile for the floor, but Ted worked with me to get it all straightened out. "DJ Custom Cabinets (Don Dockery, owner) is a wonderful company to use for custom cabinet work. Last year we thought replacing the kitchen countertops and painting the walls would make our kitchen look more modern. After the work was completed, we realized that we should have replaced the kitchen cabinets as well. We had several contractors look at the cabinets and give us their opinion. We determined that DJ Custom Cabinets was the right team for the job. It was absolutely the right decision! Don has been in this line of business for over 45 years and felt 99% confident that he could put in new kitchen cabinets without removing the new countertops. He built a complex set of braces to hold up the countertops and was successful at removing the lower cabinets without any damage to the new countertops. He then slid the new lower cabinets under the braced countertops with no damage to the countertops. He replaced all the other cabinets as well. It was amazing to watch him do this. The cabinets are beautiful. His work is absolutely the best. Don and his team are great with communication and very respectful. We never had a call that wasn’t answered or returned quickly. He kept us informed throughout the process. The process was explained thoroughly. Timeline for work completion was right on. We highly recommend DJ Custom Cabinets for any custom cabinet work.
