Write a ReviewIt was really great. One of the owners came out twice to make sure he knew what I needed done before we contracted with them to do the work. He was not pushy and detailed out all my options with a "good", "better" and "best" quote. Big Blue's prices were great and stayed within my budget for replacing 2 full systems with 10 years parts and labor. Their maintenance agreements were very reasonable as well. The workers were awesome and worked very diligently with minimal chatting. The workers were not subcontractors and knew what they needed to do. It took a few days to finish the install, but there were some issues with my attic setup since everything was original to the house and at least 20 years old. They also updated some duck work to help cool the hottest room in the house. A lot of work and thoughtfulness went into the job. During the job and at the end of the job, one of the owners came out to inspect the job to make sure everything was perfect. One of the main reasons I went with Big Blue, is that all else equal, they do a lot of charity work in the Greater Houston Area. One of my furnaces was only 2 years old, but I wanted to replace everything with the same warranty. They actually saved my 2 year-old furnace to use for their charity as it was in almost perfect condition. I really appreciated that someone who is less fortunate than me could have an option to get an almost new system through Big Blue's charitable work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has a need for A/C or Heating issues as they are really great people to work with and have huge hearts.

The owner, Ron, and his assistants Candace and Karla were very diligent in resolving an emergency situation for us on a Saturday night. My wife has a heart condition which requires constant climate control in the house. Our AC unit had a failure. I called several companies on Angie s list, including my then current provider. Big Blue was the only company which took the time to understand our truly urgent need and empathetically acted to resolve our immediate issue. They followed up with an estimate and options to definitely resolve the issue. We agreed to terms and they even helped me secure a key part still under warranty from the OEM. The techs they sent were polite, efficient and attentive to detail. So far, after 24 hours everything seems resolved. Candace followed up and provided a direct 24-hr contact number. So, from a customer service perspective, I feel very satisfied. Big Blue gained a grateful new customer.
Big Blue is a company that only looks to deceive you and get as much money from you as possible without fixing the problem. When you allow a company to come to your home and provide you with a service, you expect it to be done with honesty and integrity. It is sad that they have to make their money through lies vs trying to fix the problem quickly and efficiently. I had them come to my home because they were sent by the warranty I had. They came and the first thing the tech told me was that the unit needed to be cleaned. I advised him that I always clean it and had just cleaned it less than a month ago. Since it was not done by an AC company, he proceeded to tell me he would send pictures and a claim to the warranty and that it would most likely get denied. I told him to submit it because I knew the system was clean and that the unit was bad. After he wrote the claim he showed it to me and it said the unit need repair due to lack of maintenance. I told him he wrote that in order to have it fail. He said they have to be honest with the warranty. How can you say you are being honest when you just offered to clean the system for $285 and would just submit the claim for repairs without mention of cleaning? To avoid any more delays, I made the mistake to allow them to clean the system. They came the next day to fix the AC, but the system shut down immediately because he was more interested in getting more money out of me instead of trying to resolve the real issue. Big Blue has not submitted a new claim to the warranty and has had me waiting since Friday for a solution. Every time I call and ask for the claim to be submitted, Carla the office lady tells me that it was submitted and that she will call the warranty and call me back. She has not called me back once. She is a liar and does it with such confidence. I have never dealt with such shadiness from a service company. I have never given a bad review online because most times mistakes are made and I believe that most people work with integrity but these people at Big Blue are professional con artist. Please stay away and choose someone reputable and honest.

When booking the appointment the woman I spoke with was extremely pleasant. However, the gentleman that arrived at my home was rude. Our air filters were not on the cleaner side of the spectrum but he took pictures of the filter and said this is one for the books , which in my opinion was rude and inconsiderate. In addition to that after his services were finished and he offered some additional items that needed to be fixed and I declined to render those services he said, Don t call us back out to fix your air when it breaks down again. He was completely unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to any of my friends.
Quick response and great service. A/C wasn't cooling and Big Blue got all repairs made and now I'm loving the cold air once again. Will definitely recommend.
