"I had them replace my entire HVAC system (furnance + AC). They did a great job through the whole process. Out of four quotes I received, they were the only ones that took the time to do a full heating and cooling load calculation for my house when they came to do an estimate in addition to making detailed measurements of our utility room to make sure anything they installed would fit. They gave me three proposals ranging from low-end, mid-range, and high end options and explained the equipment in each of them in detail, including documenting all the model numbers, efficiency ratings, and specs. What they recommended matched up with my research I did prior to receiving estimates. They were very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional so I gave them the job. The crew arrived on time, worked hard the whole day, were respectful of my house, and did not require supervision (although, they told me I was more than welcome to ask questions and watch anything they were doing). They cleaned up, explained the warranty and rebate options with all the paperwork already filled out so that all I had to do was sign--they even mailed both the warranty and rebate off for me. The whole process went great. While their prices were fair they were not the cheapest, but I have no doubt they did a great job, didn't cut corners, and will stand by their work if I experience any problems. They are a reasonably sized HVAC business and not a one-man-band shop like many places in the area, so I know they will likely still be around through the life of the warranty and are well staffed to respond to emergencies, including a 24/7 emergency service number. Overall, we're very happy with the new system and it's a huge improvement over what it replaced--both the AC and furnace are much quieter than the old units, more energy efficient, and perform better. It's been a month since the install and everything has been working fine without problems."

"Joe was the first to call shortly after I submitted my request for service. He had the tech out that morning who confirmed what I thought was the issue - the AC needed replacement. Since both the furnace & AC were original, I asked for an estimate to replace both. Joe's estimate was very fair given I had an estimate earlier in the year for just the AC. Because I am in a condo, choices were limited on both the AC unit and the furnance (because of size and space limitations). But Joe found a good combination of products and the install team came out on a SUNDAY! The job was not an easy one and I appreciated the team's tenacity in completing the installation. So far, everything is working well. One thing to be aware of: while the company offers an interest free payment plan, that plan is based on a higher cost (essentially I took it to mean the interest was built into the payoff period) so I chose to go with the original estimate."

I seldom have plumbers in so I can't say the cost was high, although I was surprised it was $400, but that could be the going rate. He seemed very agreeable and very happy. "$99 diagnostic fee to identify the problem (two wires in the condenser were rubbed out from vibration and touching each other, which shorted the system, causing the thermostat to not turn on), plus $240 to put two pieces of electrical tape on them... Very professional and knowledgeable, but the actual repair portion of the price seems steep considering the nature of the repair. No new parts were installed or replaced."

Talking and giving suggestions to another if needed. Any mess they made, they cleaned up. I left the house to return to work. I left my cell phone number for them to call me if they completed the job prior to my return. they attempted to return items to their original space. I don't remember the crew taking a lunch break. I asked if anyone had lunch? They stated "finishing this job is more important.". The job took approximately ten hours. (Non stop) It was expensive, but worth it! When they removed the antiquated material it was replaced with brand new up to date equipment., The old equipment was taken away! I would highly recommend Horizon Services to anyone who asked."
