I called G & G and was able to talk to the owner on the phone and found him to be very courteous and knowledgable. He promptly came to my house to discuss the details and to provide me with a fixed price quote. He was very helpful with suggestions and answering questions. I accepted the quote and the next day they showed up and completed the work in a very professional manner. A few days later I climbed up into the attic and was very impressed with the quality of their work. They had installed cardboard stops at all the soffit vents and they had also installed cardboard screeds to guide and control the depth of the blown in insulation. The end result is that the insulation has performed exactly as G & G estimated it would."

"The price came in well under what I had estimated it would cost us to do it ourselves, and we didn't even have to get scratchy. They fit us in the same week I called, they came when they said they would and when the time came, they finished quickly. The man I talked with on the phone ahead of time had a couple of questions regarding a storage space he found in the attic, which I appreciated.  <br /> I inspected shortly after they were done and found that one of the crawl space access points had been completely covered, while the other had a nice insulation patch cut out and affixed to the access panel. I suspect the installers had simply not dreamed there were two, since it is unusual for this size of house. However, I did prefer the cut patch so that we wouldn't have to remove a huge bale of insulation just to turn off the plumbing in an emergency, so I called and asked for the second access panel to be made like the other. He explained to me how it was better to remove several feet of insulation in that situation, but I can't remember how that might be so. I asked for it plainly, and he sent someone out that very day to fix that for us. <br />"

"Kevin, the owner, is very professional and friendly.  He explained his products thoroughly and did not try to 'close the deal' and force an appointment.   I spoke with a couple of other window companies.  His prices were comparable to one and considerably less than another one.  I appreciated his not using pressure techniques on us to buy before he left which the other companies both did.  The windows have worked out well and he even personally came to replace some caulk that came loose from the install over a year later.  He and his men were prompt on the job and very thorough.  I will check first with Kevin and his company on any home project."
