"It was probably within two or three weeks. He didn’t know anything about the DVR hard drive so he couldn’t hook it up. He didn’t seem very knowledgeable about much of anything. I was not satisfied. I would not call him again. He really couldn’t seem to not wait until he got out of here. He was only here for 45 minutes and I paid for two hours. He didn’t want to look into how to hook up the DVR. He just seem to want to leave. If he didn’t know about something, he was kind of making excuses. He hooked up a couple of things that I could have done myself actually but it was the DVR thing that I was confused about. The thing that he hooked up, he hooked up okay. I think that he showed up on time. He couldn’t answer some of my questions while he was here. He was here on time. It was a really waste of money for me."

"They were professional, courteous, and friendly. Arrived when they said they would, explained exactly what was wrong, and kept me informed throughout. Tried replacing an inexpensive part first, at no extra cost, to see whether that would fix the problem. Only when that failed did they do the more expensive repair. They could have told me from the start that the expensive repair was needed, and I would have had no way of knowing differently. This makes me feel that I can trust them to do only required repairs, and not pad the job with unnecessary work. Update: I have since tried using them for refrigerator repair which they say they do. One time they came and said they needed to come back but didn't, another time said they would come but after repeated calls, didn't. I don't know what happened since I used them last."

"I was in a bit of a bind because my A/C went out and I had a renter coming in 2 days.  They responded to my call immediately. They replaced it immediately. They were there for 8 hours and did not stop until it was done and even bought me dinner.  They followed up after the installation also.  I have had awful experiences with the local A/C companies and this company was not even close and had no problem driving down to Big Coppitt Key. The price of the new A/C was very reasonable too! You must use these guys! Nice clean cut guys too!"

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
