"Recently we hired Ardmore to replace the glass in 2 of our skylights and install a new storm door. Other than rain delays the skylights were installed in less than 2 hours as Ardmore sent 2 crews for the installation. They even came inside to vacuum any debris that might have fallen into the house during the installation. (5 out of 5). The installation of the storm doors was different. It took over 10 hours for 2 men to finish the installation which I felt was excessive and felt they didn't do the installation correctly. The difference between a good company and a better company is how well they fix a problem and to this point they are doing a better job. When I called to complain the scheduler immediately suggested they send out someone to inspect the work and within 3 days someone came out and fixed 2 out of the 3 problems and said someone would be calling me and ordering a replacement part to fix the 3rd problem"

"I called for service late this morning and the job was done before 4PM. One of my garage door cables broke on Christmas Eve. I called late this morning and within an hour Ken had called me back to make arrangements to come and see what I needed. He got here on time and proceeded to inspect my situation. I asked about my over 27 year old doors and openers and he said they were fine and recommended that I did not need new doors or openers. After testing and inspection he replaced all four springs, pulleys, cables and roller wheels. (I know I needed new springs and rollers as they were obviously worn and I had already replaced my springs about 10 years ago after two had snapped causing some damage to my walls when they did.) He then tested and adjusted the doors until they operated like new. He used upgraded rollers so I don't have to lubricate them. Both doors operate better and are quieter than before the cable broke. I think they are operating as good if not better than when they were new. He also noticed one of my hinges was oxidized and replaced that too before it broke. He gave me an extra hinge in case any ever break as that can seriously damage the door. Ken is very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He worked very quickly and efficiently and explained everything to me as he worked. My doors and openers are over 27 years old and I could have been easily convinced to get new openers and new doors. By being honest and forthright he saved me several thousand dollars on items I did not need. I couldn't be happier with the service and work he provided. I will definitely use him again if the need arises. I highly recommend him. A top notch service provider."

"From the moment we asked Juan to come and give us an estimate, he and his entire crew were nothing but professional, punctual, and did an incredible job.  When we first called him to come give us an estimate, it was later in the day, (5:00ish) but he still answered the phone and came over the next day (Tuesday).  I noticed the courteousness he showed when he took his shoes off until we were ready for the basement, and when he took them off again when we got upstairs from the basement in order to minimize the dust and dirt.  He quoted us a price we felt was fair and asked when they could start, and he told us Thursday of that week!  

He sent two gentleman over, both equally nice and professional in their job.  They finished the initial dry wall installation on Thursday, and the person handling the mudding came the next morning.  He did a great job, got it done in one day but they were unsure whether the final sanding would be Saturday or the next week.  Juan shot me a text message that night that as long as the mud was dry, they would be over the next day, which they were.  Sanding was completed in half a day, and Juan and I went around and he touched up a few areas with mud that had been over sanded.

During the entire job, they laid tarps on the floor between the outside and the basement as well as the stairs to go up to the master bath so to minimize the dirt and debris they left behind.  When they were finished, they cleaned with the dry vac and a damp mop on the floors.  For the price we paid, we are incredibly happy with the quality of the work, how personable Juan is, and the professionalism of the entire crew.  If we ever have any other painting or dry wall projects that need to be completed, they will be our first call for sure.

"Estimate was provided in a timely manner with measurements taken, repair and replacement work confirmed and explained.  Communication during negotiations with the company were responded to quickly and professionally.  Work was performed as soon as new skylights were received and all work and repairs were completed in one day as promised.  Brian, Genoves's principal, was easy to deal with, knowledgeable about the work to be done and with his crew did everything agreed to.  All in all you can't ask for anything more from a company!"

"My original appointment was scheduled for November 2nd.  He came back on November 5th because he did not have a part he needed - thankfully I was working from home on the 5th or the installation would have taken longer to complete.
Frankly I did not understand not having the part - there is a hardware store very close to me as well as a Home Depot and Lowe's approximately a mile away.  However it did work out on the 5th and the new faucet prevented water leaking below my sink which I was not aware of until I removed items for the installation.  Very happy the situation is rectified!

"There were a lot of issues initially and I contacted Angie’s List and you were able to help us resolve it. What happened was that I got the deal, I wanted my daughter to use it because the kind of windows that they were going to install weren’t appropriate for my house and I felt that my daughter can profit from that under the circumstances better than I could. So she took the deal and it was not so good initially because apartments were not kept but it turned out fine because they got the windows done and they were pleased with them. They honored the price for two windows. The problem was with scheduling and that sort of thing. The issue was not really honoring the commitment to come at a certain time or to get the work done by a certain time. They did a good job of installation once they did it. I only had one contact with them and I wasn’t happy with that because he wanted to do a complete inspection of the house and I was focused on the windows not so much so on insulation. So I knew that wasn’t good for me and I wasn’t happy with that interaction but here again, in all fairness my daughter was satisfied with the interaction that she had."

"Jeremy was very responsive to the initial phone calls. Scheduled an in home consult quickly and gave a thorough presentation of their systems and capabilities. We scheduled the install a few days later for our system. Larry was helpful and professional. We has a couple of hiccups, which were resolved. We also decided to add security cameras and has a little trouble scheduling that install. Once installed all is working well. We’re very happy with the products and service."
