"They were very clean, everything was picked up after work each day. They were care not to damage walls, floors and misc things that might be broken. The work was done per schedule, they took pictures before and after. They also did air pressure heat loss testing prior and post project. There was a big difference between the 2 numbers so the work is making a difference. Very nice to work with as well, the installers work for Comfort, not contractors. <br />"

Although we paid quite a bit for this project (one 8' slider and one sidelight plus an entrance door to our garage) I was very impressed with the company in general --- I guess you get what you pay for! The salesman came out and we discussed the project. The installer then came out to measure and when I had hesitations, made other suggestions so that I would be happy. The salesman came out again and we re-did the order based on the installer's suggestions. The doors/window were installed just after Christmas and the workers were amazing! They took great care to make certain that the installation was correct -- even in our house of unevenness. I watched them build out the trim so that it would look nice and handle the challenges of our uneven ceiling with ease. In the end, I was very happy with the entire process. I was also very happy to see them take such great care in the clean up.. leaving it better than they found it! The only negative was the cost -- but they assure me it's guaranteed forever, even to the next owner, and even if I throw something at my husband, miss and break the window, lol."

"Wow! Roofers were here at 7 AM and left at 7 PM. New roof done and they cleaned every square inch of driveway, yard and porch. Two gentlemen from the Honduras and one from Mexico. They were the sweetest, most polite and hardworking guys. My roof looks great. Allstate will be installing new gutters in a couple weeks. Highly recommended for price and workmanship. Me and my husband are very happy!"

"Our house is over 100 years old and the paint had deteriorated badly. There was tons of loose, cracked and peeling paint. In many places all the paint was gone and bare wood was visible. Further, a prior owner had painted the brick work on the entrance way and chimney thereby washing out the chief architectural feature of the house.  <br /> Horizon put in a prompt and detailed bid for the work which included a step by step plan to deal with the peeling and cracked paint. The owner of Horizon, Mike Grillo was very helpful in picking out a color scheme. We gave him some ideas of the colors we liked and he put together a sample board with paint swatches in various combinations from the color group we liked best. This was very helpful in narrowing things down. We then bought a few quarts of the colors we liked and Mike painted some sample patcheso on the house so that we could se what it would really look like. I highly, highly recommend that you do this to make sure of your colors before its too late. It took a few tries but we eventually hit on the right colors. <br /> Painting the brick work and the old storm windows was labor intensive and far beyond what is typically needed for a paint job but Mike and his crew patiently took care of all the problems associated with painting bricks and in the end, the results were fantastic.  <br /> The only draw back was that there was lots and lots of rain this summer causing the start date to be pushed back over and over again and the rain continued once they started work to further delay things. The two man crew that did most of the work were professional, friendly and competent in their work.  <br /> What matters most are the results and though I may be biased, I think that my house went from being the shabbiest home in the neighborhood to being, hands down, the prettiest. I can't tell you how many people have stopped by to rave about how wonderful the house looks now. <br />"
