"While the materials and communication was good, unfortunately there were some things that left a bad taste and I am not sure I would use them again. While there were some issues that they are addressing quickly, like replacing a part of the door they changed because a piece was smothered with white silicone, and also replacing a panel that was broken when they capped the trim outside my home, and they destroyed my big rosemary bush. I'm baffled as to why they didn't notify me at the moment and instead I had to wait until the walk-through to find out. The forklift person who came to pick up some material that wasn't used left a hole in my driveway. I just sent them some pictures, but haven't heard back, but hopefully this looks like it will be repaired. I am also not happy with how the door looks after the install and the reply from the QA walk-through was 'that is how we seal all the doors'. I appreciate that the amount of clear silicone used will prevent leaks and bugs, it looks like someone watched a whole bunch of YouTube videos and at the end some measurement went wrong and the mistake was covered up with an uneven line of silicone. Time will tell how long the silicone will hold against concrete. "It finally came time for us to replace two old wooden garage doors. First I did some research on garage doors in general. Lots of info on the Internet. Then I did extensive research on quality garage door contractors in my area. Used Yelp and other sources. Came up with a list of five quality candidates and sent details to each for bids. Eliminated 3 in relatively short order for various reasons. Came down to two candidates for the same two door options (either a Clopay or a CHI) -- Academy and another contractor. I focused on all decisioning points -- service, price, features, warranty, etc. Both were very close on price so that was not a discriminating factor. However, all the other factors came out very much in favor of Academy. Our sales contact, Dave McLaughlin was superb. Knowledgeable, responsive, helpful. The two managers at HQ -- John and Alan -- also very professional and responsive. So I did the order with Academy and selected the Clopay doors. Doors arrived in the time period they said. Scheduled the install. Jim and Coach (two HUGE guys!) showed up and did the install. They were even able to deal with the fact that my floor was off level just a shade. Made the doors fit well. Thanks guys! So far so good! Love the new doors! SO much better than the old ones in every way. Now I have to fix up my house b/c the garage doors are now the best part!"

"Wayne was wonderful. I called one afternoon & he was there the next day-scheduling the appointment at my convenience. He was there exactly as promised. He was very nice, extremely professional. As he was adding a deadbolt which involved drilling through the wood door, he made sure the area was covered to keep everying clean. Upon completion, he made very sure that the lock worked smoothly. "After a break-in, I needed to get my doors replaced. The reviews on Angie's List helped me select Supreme Window and Door with added confidence. From start to finish, the process was easy and the pricing fair. All the staff were professional and courteous.
The sale representative (Albert) was knowledgeable about the product line. He answered my questions and worked with me to find a product right for me and within my budget. He explained the different features and options - but i never felt pressured. Eric and the rest of the installation team did a beautiful job installing the doors: they were professional, neat and kept me informed throughout the job.
Besides just "selling and installing" my doors, Albert and Eric went above and beyond the written contract and were gracious in volunteering to help me with a few handyman-type small jobs I needed after the break-in: helping to install a new motion-detector light and fixing a broken wooden gate. These were small "chores", but the extra effort they took to quickly install a new backyard security light and to fix the broken gate helped me feel more secure after the break-in incident. Knowing about my situation with the break-in, everyone at Supreme Window and Door worked to expedite the process and get my new doors ordered and installed as soon as possible.

"William was great to work with! After my neighbor boarded the door for me, I called him about 9:00 p.m. and he came out the next morning to assess the situation. Since my door was so old I decided to go with a new sliding glass door. He had to order the door which took a few days. "Hammer and Nail contacted me within 10 minutes of my submission of an online request  for information. That right off the bat impressed me as two other contractors I contacted prior to Hammer and Nail never contacted me back even after I left them voice messages. Hammer and Nails sales rep Nikos came to my home and showed and explained to me all of my product choices and then spent a significant amount of time measuring and remeasuring the monster size door to be replaced.  Prior to my door order being submitted, another Hammer and Nail employee came to re-measure and confirm the original measurements. Due to the size of the door (and double screen doors) and transom it was pretty much a custom built door and it did take about 6 weeks for the door to be delivered from the Marvin factory but I was informed by Nikos that that would be the case and I had no objections to the time frame. Once the door arrived, the construction staff quickly scheduled installation. James and his install crews showed up exactly on time. James and his crew were very courteous and took great measures to protect my floors before demolition of the existing door. The guys did an excellent job of installing the new doors and transom. James himself made sure that the screen doors latched properly and that the doors were aligned perfectly. The crew used spray float insulation instead of cramming in little pieces of fiberglass insulation. The crew did a great job caulking the walls inside and out and cleaned up after themselves before they left. I am so pleased by this experience with Hammer and Nail that I will be calling them in the near future to replace my basement door.
