"Excellent work by an efficient and profession plumber. Bought the tap install through Angie list but was informed upon arrival that changing the turn offs was not included even though I had the taps and all the valves and lines. The up charge was another 120.00 to change valves and lines along with the taps. The outside hose tap cost another 80.00 to change out with me supplying the new tap. The plumber arrived and completed all the work in 45 minutes plus another 15 minutes for paperwork. Including the price I paid to Angie's List, this one hour job ended up costing over 250.00 for 1 hour labour as I supplied all the plumbing parts. The work was well done, but 250.00 an hour for a plumber is outrageous. Would not recommend them for this reason. Buyer beware that adding on extra work on an Angie list price is very expensive."

"I purchased the Angie's List deal to have a new garbage disposer installed. Anthony and Shayne are the father & son owners of the business. I was given a 2 hour window time. Anthony arrived about 45 minutes after my window time, but he explained he came from doing a job out in Apache Junction. I live in Phoenix, so he had a long drive. He was very nice and got right to work. It took him about 15-20 mins to install the disposer. He also pointed out, to my surprise, that the disposer I was replacing still looked new. Since I already purchased the deal and bought a new disposer I told him to go ahead and replace it anyway and I would keep the other disposer as a backup. Also, after he installed and tested it to make sure it worked properly he noticed that there was a shortage with power switch that turns on the disposer. I was already aware of it and had planned on getting an electrician to fix it. Anthony mentioned that he also does electrical work. When I asked him how much he charged to replace the switch, he quoted me $75. Then he did something that will keep me as a customer for life. Anthony told me I can replace the switch myself. He actually took the time to show me how to do it. My mom and I went to Home Depot, but they no longer sell that exact same switch. Then we went to a hardware store and the man at the hardware store told us that the switch worked fine, it's just that the copper wire wasn't attached to the switch correctly and was creating the shortage. He showed my mom and I how to properly attach the copper to my existing switch. When we got home we did it the way he explained and the switch works perfectly! I didn't have to buy a new switch. Although Anthony mistakenly told us we needed a new switch when we didn't, what's most important is he saved me from paying an additional $75. It's so refreshing to know honest people still exist and practice good faith towards their customers. I will be using their services again...and I'll be returning to that hardware store again."

"Called action plumbing when my water heater started leaking in my house. They got someone out to my house within a couple hours to find out what was wrong. Jeremy was very nice and explained to me that the unit was so old we would need to replace it. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast he was able to get it replaced as I was worried we would be without hot water for a while. The customer service was phenomenal and the whole process was super smooth. Action plumbing took my urgency seriously and was happy to help."

"This company reached out to us right away and scheduled for our tank to be pumped out the next day. Surprisingly for us, they called and came out the same day. Their team of excellence got the job done efficiently and got our septic working again. I would highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs."

"Drilled my well on a new home build they came out a month early and drilled just to make sure the well was ready when the home was completed. After the electricity was installed the electrician had questions about the wiring so I called them and Dan (owner) instead of trying to tell the electrician over the phone was at my house within 20 mins to make sure everything was right. After powering up the capacitor was humming (normal) but Dan was not satisfied and installed another new panel. 100% satisfied. They go above and beyond, it is nice to see a company that cares about their customers."

FAQs for well pump installation and replacement projects in Chandler, AZ

Signs that your well pressure tank requires replacement include inconsistent water pressure, your pump turning on and off frequently (known as short cycling), visible leaks around the tank, or unusual noises from your well system. Physical damage, corrosion, or a tank that's reached its seven to 10-year expected lifespan may also indicate it's time for replacement. When multiple issues arise simultaneously, replacement often proves more economical than attempting repairs.

The timeframe for professional well pressure tank replacement varies depending on your specific system and any complications that might arise during installation. Factors that can affect installation time include accessibility of your current tank, whether additional components need replacement, and the complexity of your well system. For precise timing expectations, consult with the professional handling your installation.

Attempting to replace your well pressure tank involves several potential risks, including improper pressure calibration that could damage your pump, contamination of your water supply, and physical injury from handling heavy equipment. Additionally, incorrect installation might lead to water leaks, property damage, or system inefficiency. Many manufacturers also specify that professional installation is required to maintain warranty coverage, making the $125 to $200 professional installation fee a worthwhile investment for most homeowners.
