"July 2017 OAT +101 (F) -one of my AC units stopped working. I called them at 3:30 P.M. Wed. and they tried to to help me that same day , but of course, with the temps in the 100's they were very busy with other emergencies. They got to me first thing the next day and had my A/C up and running within a few hours. Great service! Great communication! I would definitely recommend them. They will do all my future HVAC work."

"Butch called back right away. Came out in a timely fashion. Got one unit working. Then he said the main board was malfunctioning on the downstairs unit and would have to be replaced. It would cost 1200 or 1300. But if we spent a little extra on a service contract he would wave the trip fee and it would be 1100 something. Okay. We did that. It was too late for him to get the board that day so he came out the next day to install the board. But the unit still didn't come on. He said the thermostat was bad and it would we 300 to 500 to replace the thermostat depending on what we wanted. My husband told him we could do that ourselves. Just by pass it and get the unit working. Then he came down and said that the blower motor was out and it would be 1800 to replace the blower motor or 2400 to just replace the whole unit and then we'd be under warranty again. I told them I wanted a second opinion before we did that. I called Ed & Sons they came out, confirmed that we did need a new thermostat. And said they could rebuild the blower motor for around 100$. I ordered two new thermostats for 300 for both of them and my husband installed the thermostats. The work they did was fine. But I felt like they were more of the school of let's just replace parts until it works or we can sell them a new unit. Rather than what can we fix."

The cost of the two systems was very reasonable and their attentiveness to the customer experience was outstanding. Our experience started with the office staff that scheduled a home visit for a quote. We had several contacts with the staff and they were always very professional and helpful. The salesman that came to the house was very knowledgeable and listened to what we wanted and made suggestions that would enhance the systems. He explained the warranty in detail and the company’s yearly service contract. The installers were prompt and did an outstanding job. Afterwards they took the time to explain what they specifically did during the installation and to explain the Wi-Fi thermostat to us. "I called several companies on New Year's Day and they had no service today or their fee to just show up was $400 without repairs. I was housing 3 flood victims of which 2 were recovering from recent serious surgeries and in electric hospital beds that were not working. I was told by 2 companies that the first available appointment would be Thursday the 4th. I called OnTime and explained my situation and their service man, Carlos, was here within an hour. He first checked the main box because one breaker would not come on then checked every outlet in the 4 areas of the house without service until he found the problem which was a GFI outlet & transformer located outside on the front wall of the house. He found the transformer had blown and fried everything in that outlet and cut off all service connected in that line. It took a while to find the problem but he was persistent until he found the source and replaced both the GFI plug and transformer, He then rechecked to be sure all other areas that were off were now working. Carlos was very professional, polite, and explained what had happened. Another company had previously done work for me and installed a new larger electrical box. At that time they had told me they were installing a "whole house surge protector" and Carlos showed me that I did not have any whole house surge protector and that what they had claimed to be a surge protector was no such thing. I was not happy to discover that for 3 years I had thought I had something and did not. Carlos will return next week and install a surge protector to cover the entire house. I am very pleased with the work done today. I am not so pleased with the price, however, the holiday charge was half of what the other companies I had called were charging and I got prompt efficient service that was badly needed under the circumstances. My house guests now have operating hospital beds again and that was a definite priority. We also now have internet and cable which would have been difficult to go without for 4 days."

"What a fantastic experience!! I scheduled an appointment to have my system assessed for a mildewy smell with TKO after I had received poor service from another provider.  They scheduled me for the first available appointment, approximately 3 business days later. The next day, I discovered that my outdoor unit fan was not working. TKO originally thought that they wouldn't be able to come out until the next afternoon, but then did some digging to see exactly where their technicians were in the field, and figured out one crew was just around the corner. They fit me in, and were able to fix the problem in 10 minutes flat with the best attitude (it was already close to 5 on a hot day). They didn't even charge me!
On the day of my scheduled appointment, they arrived on time, and immediately diagnosed my mildewy smell. They had an easy solution to the problem. and provided education about way for me to easily do some preventative maintenance. They also recognized that my system had not been properly serviced by the previous company (which I was aware of) and offered to re-service it for me, which then qualified me for a discount for the service call for fixing the mildew issue.
All three technicians I worked for were very professional, very friendly, and provided useful information. They were careful about keeping the house clean. They did not try to upsell me on anything I didn't need, and even provided me some money-saving tips. I would be happy to work with this company as long as I live in Austin.

"The guy who used to come out and do the maintenance of our unit, used to work for another company. He’s a really great guy. So when he started his own company we switched over to his company. He’s excellent and he’s a really good guy. The people that work there are excellent. They are very honest. They are very nice people and very polite. They are very thorough. They are very professional. If they find something wrong, they take the part and make sure if it’s under warranty and then get the stuff if needed. They are very conscientious. Their price is excellent. They are very responsive. When I call them and if they don’t answer, they call me back. The quality of their work is excellent. I would use their services again in the future."

"Called and asked them to bring and install a thermal couple on a gas water heater, because pilot light would not stay on. They sent a Master Plumber, who looked at the pilot light and said it would not stay lit and Tried to sell me a new water heater. They then sent 2 plumbers, took 5 minutes to replace TC. Water Heater works fine now. Cost $205 not $1600 for a new heater."
