"Butch called back right away. Came out in a timely fashion. Got one unit working. Then he said the main board was malfunctioning on the downstairs unit and would have to be replaced. It would cost 1200 or 1300. But if we spent a little extra on a service contract he would wave the trip fee and it would be 1100 something. Okay. We did that. It was too late for him to get the board that day so he came out the next day to install the board. But the unit still didn't come on. He said the thermostat was bad and it would we 300 to 500 to replace the thermostat depending on what we wanted. My husband told him we could do that ourselves. Just by pass it and get the unit working. Then he came down and said that the blower motor was out and it would be 1800 to replace the blower motor or 2400 to just replace the whole unit and then we'd be under warranty again. I told them I wanted a second opinion before we did that. I called Ed & Sons they came out, confirmed that we did need a new thermostat. And said they could rebuild the blower motor for around 100$. I ordered two new thermostats for 300 for both of them and my husband installed the thermostats. The work they did was fine. But I felt like they were more of the school of let's just replace parts until it works or we can sell them a new unit. Rather than what can we fix."

Ii came out an easy fix with just needing the capacitor replaced. No charge for the service call. I will definitely use this business again for all my HVAC needs.

"I like the water filter they gave me. I can get the water straight from the tap. They gave me a free installation because I am an Angie's List member. All the salt is removed from my water. They told me if I referred anyone to them they would give me $500 credit. My skin feels better and all my food and coffee I make with my water taste better. Installing a salt filter is not as good because you end up loosing 300 gallons of water a month. One time I called to tell them my filter was leaking and they found everything was running and they didn't charge me."

"Everything went smoothly up until I had a ceiling leak and we found that the condensation line to the other unit was broken during the installation. It was not carelessness but a poor design by the builder of the home. Anyway, they agreed to fix it and the damage it caused, without any need for me to make a lot of noise. My only complaint was that the repair was long and drawn out taking 4 or 5 visits to complete and the repairman was good but never came on schedule."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. "I called several companies on New Year's Day and they had no service today or their fee to just show up was $400 without repairs. I was housing 3 flood victims of which 2 were recovering from recent serious surgeries and in electric hospital beds that were not working. I was told by 2 companies that the first available appointment would be Thursday the 4th. I called OnTime and explained my situation and their service man, Carlos, was here within an hour. He first checked the main box because one breaker would not come on then checked every outlet in the 4 areas of the house without service until he found the problem which was a GFI outlet & transformer located outside on the front wall of the house. He found the transformer had blown and fried everything in that outlet and cut off all service connected in that line. It took a while to find the problem but he was persistent until he found the source and replaced both the GFI plug and transformer, He then rechecked to be sure all other areas that were off were now working. Carlos was very professional, polite, and explained what had happened. Another company had previously done work for me and installed a new larger electrical box. At that time they had told me they were installing a "whole house surge protector" and Carlos showed me that I did not have any whole house surge protector and that what they had claimed to be a surge protector was no such thing. I was not happy to discover that for 3 years I had thought I had something and did not. Carlos will return next week and install a surge protector to cover the entire house. I am very pleased with the work done today. I am not so pleased with the price, however, the holiday charge was half of what the other companies I had called were charging and I got prompt efficient service that was badly needed under the circumstances. My house guests now have operating hospital beds again and that was a definite priority. We also now have internet and cable which would have been difficult to go without for 4 days."

"Called and asked them to bring and install a thermal couple on a gas water heater, because pilot light would not stay on. They sent a Master Plumber, who looked at the pilot light and said it would not stay lit and Tried to sell me a new water heater. They then sent 2 plumbers, took 5 minutes to replace TC. Water Heater works fine now. Cost $205 not $1600 for a new heater."

"Travis and his coworker were very friendly and professional.  We had a few hiccups because they didn't have a tall enough ladder for the install.  They went and rented a taller ladder and continued the install only to find out that the down rod that I had wasn't compatible with the new fan.  So the crew was at my house for most of the morning and wasn't able to complete the job. 

I rescheduled for the following week and had the correct down rod on hand and they finished up the work.  The install ended up costing about twice as much as what I was hoping for but I have to take blame for most of that for not having the proper part.

All & all it was a good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use TD Services again in the future.
