Get matched with top heat pump installers and replacers in Fremont, CA

"I used them a few years before for another heating problem. They are not cheap but they are not over priced. They are reasonable. They are not the cheapest place in town, but they are reasonable and they do good work. I can't give them an A on price because they are not cheap. I would use them again."

"Venice the technician was friendly and was able to quickly diagnose the problem which was the hose that connected to the pump broke and it looked pretty old. Since we couldn’t just replace the connector to the hose, getting a new part was the best choice."

"great service, heater needed a good cleaning everything was great. Duke was responsive and gave awesome feedback and trustworthy service. I will use again."

"We had a wonderful experience with Comfort Energy! The service person, whose name was Chance, did a thorough evaluation of the problem with a focus on saving us as much money as possible, to either repair or replace our 30-year-old heat furnace. He quickly determined that our inlet filter was too dense (it was a Merv 11 and should have been a Merv 8) and that that was probably causing the heater to go off an on every 5-10 minutes. He then tested and confirmed his hypothesis. He also performed a CO test to make sure there wasn't anything more serious going on. Finally, he gave us a good idea of replacement options, which we should probably do before the next Winter, but not necessarily right away. All in all, this is exactly the kind of assessment we needed, and it cost orders of magnitude less than what was estimated by the first service company we had come out. Chance was great, and Comfort Energy is our go-to for heating and cooling service and/or installation from now on."

"My furnace quit working about a week ago. I called a different company; they sent a technician out. He told me that the blower was frozen, and since the furnace was made in 1969 I wouldn't be able to get parts for it. He said I need a new furnace. Wonderful. His company gives me an estimate of $4800-$5300. A second company gives me an estimate for $5800-$7400. I called Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating for the third estimate. Tony shows up on time, I tell him I've been told I need a new furnace. He takes a look at the old one, starts digging around in it, and has it working again in about 30 minutes! Tony was professional, extremely competent, and knowledgeable about the replacement process (that I no longer needed). To say that I am happy with not having to go through the hassles of a furnace replacement is an understatement! Tony saved me thousands of dollars and days of what would have been wasted time waiting for code inspections, not being able to leave the house, etc. THANK YOU!"

"I called around and was referred to Better Water Heaters, as the original company I called was short-handed and overscheduled due to the weather. It was explained that Better Water Heaters was their "sister" company and they had a good relationship. I called them and left a message. They responded very quickly that they could come on Saturday morning. The service man, Mike, called 30 minutes before the time window started and was able to be there a little early. Mike was very friendly and I explained the problem. He said I was probably correct that the sediment had clogged everything and caused the thermostat et. al. to fail. He advised that he could try to get the parts and fix the problem, but may be just better to replace the water heater. I had already planned to go with replacing the water heater, so I was prepared. The price was about the average for this area for a water heater and installation. Mike replaced the water heater and flex lines as well as a new gas line that met the new standards/regulations, and added a drain pan. Mike is very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. He is also friendly and professional. The installation was completed in about an hour. He should me the basic operation and instructions before cleaning up. Now I have a new Bradford White, and so far everything has been great, lots of hot water and no more noises. So, we were without hot water for only 1 day. I would recommend them if you have a problem."

"I hired Comfort Energy to replace my moms heater after reading excellent reviews. The reviews were spot on! Eddie, the customer rep, and Nima, the installer was knowledgeable, straightforward forward and professional. Nima did an excellent installation, followed Covid protocols, and did clean up afterwards. We could not be happier!"

"Air Sharks LLC recently replaced our residential Natural Gas NG HVAC (otherwise known as Furnace / Air Conditioner) with an electrical Heat Pump HVAC HPHVAC. I MUST COMMEND THIS COMPANY IN MANY WAYS: (1) outstanding installation workmanship & craftsmanship, (2) excellence in Building Permit application & follow-through, (3) excellent follow-through with respect to Rebates from application through all administration steps, and (4) excellence in application and follow through with various agency regulations. "Jim's Air Systems had the best value for my dollar. They supplied me with better equipment than they quoted for the same price. They completed the entire installation in about five hours. They protected my floors with tarps and were very careful to protect my walls as they moved equipment in and out. Josh, the son of the original Jim, was on the job working with the other two installers. They performed above my expectations. They left my home and yard as clean as if they had never been there. The new furnace is wonderful and is already saving me money on my P.G. & E. bill. I would recommend Jim's Air Systems unconditionally to anyone in need of a new furnace and AC system. This is a family business that has been supplying and installing systems since 1976. They take personal pride in doing an excellent job. They did not sell me anything that I did not need and provided me with a much cleaner and easier-to-service installation than my existing system. They are the best!"
