"Your Community Heating and Cooling handled our repair. Rakim, the company owner came out the same day, spent some time to thoroughly examine our heat pump. The compressor was not working. He attempted to perform maintenance on the compressor to "buy us some extra time" with the unit but was unable to make it work. Rakim offered two solutions, and recommended what he thought was the best plan of action. We agreed and chose to replace the heat pump. The diagnosis visit was timely and inexpensive ($80) for the level of professionalism we received. Rakim came out the next day, and replaced our unit (a York) with a higher quality Rheem. The work took approximately 2 hours (maybe less) and within a few hours, the temperature in our house decreased from 87 degrees to 75, and when we woke the next morning the house temp was 70 degrees. By the way, both visits occurred between 7 and 9 PM. Rakim recognized our need, and gave selflessly of his time and experience providing us with excellent service. I would recommend that you choose Your Community Heating and Cooling for your needs as well. Both visits were $2330.00. Extremely pleased with all facets."

"11/19/24 Taylor Heating and Air did an excellent job of installing a new Heat Pump system for the upstairs area of my home. They replaced the old hydronic system which had gone bad. They did a complete system replacement. The technician Chris O. was extremely knowledgeable, professional and highly respectful of my property. Kept me informed and sort my consent as to how he was planning on accomplishing certain installation requirement. I got about five estimates for this job and Taylor had the most economical package. I highly recommend this company for any HVAC work or more. The whole staff were all very nice people."

"* Technician was knowledgeable * Office appeared disorganized. I did not receive invoices for any work done. I called the office and was able to get them emailed to me. I did not receive a promised call back for service requested. I called them after waiting 2 days. Service was very polite and I could tell they were trying to help. Maybe new staff? * It was painful to pay $695 just to find out I needed to replace the evaporator coil. Granted, this price included 3 pounds of refrigerant. They charge a flat $362 for the leak search regardless of how long it takes. This may be standard practice at all places, however. * The quote to replace the coil seemed way out of the average range. According to the website airconditionerprice.com this should run somewhere between $650 and $1200 based on your region. The quote was $1671. I found a provider on this website with high reviews that did it for $800."

"We called Greg with Element Heating on a Monday morning, and he was able to come out and assess our unit that afternoon. He talked us through our options of repair vs replace and helped answer our questions so we were comfortable with our decision to replace the unit (at 14 years old, we knew it was time). We ultimately talked to 5 different companies (big and small) before making any decisions, and we were most impressed with both Elementâ s customer service, as well as his prices. Greg got us a â betterâ rated unit for the same price we were quoted for a â goodâ unit from others. We also prefer supporting small, local businesses when we can. Greg was able to start work on Wednesday and get our heat back on that afternoon. We hit some snags that set the project back a bit (through no fault of Element), but Greg was very communicative with us every step of the way and let us know what was going on and what to expect. He was thorough and detail oriented throughout the install, taking the time to point things out to us and answer any additional questions as the project went on. He was timely, respectful of our space, and personable - I enjoyed chatting with him throughout the course of the install.
