"Of course the A/C quits on the afternoon of the 90+ degree day! Fan and compressor were not working, but indoor fan was, meaning either a capacitor or contractor issue in the outdoor unit. Called office 10 minutes before they were done for the day, but was able to confirm a repair appointment for first thing the next morning. Technician (Sean) was here at 8 am, and after a 2 minute discussion and check, confirmed that capacitor was the issue. Still under warranty from Bryant, so that was a plus, but I was surprised that there was a failure after only 3 years since last unit ( also a Bryant, nd installed by AC Engineers after house was built in 1997) never had a problem for the 17 years we had it until replaced with the higher efficiency unit. The interesting comment from the technician was that he would likely replace 5-6 more capacitors that day (!!!!!), not tied to any particular brand of unit, but more because all the manufacturers use the same capacitor from the same source, and "they literally don't build them like the used too". Rather illuminating - In addition to the capacitor fix, he did a full service check of the system. Excellent job, responsive and knowledgeable."

I knew I had significant heating loss going on, and his audit confirmed just how bad it was. The installation crew took extra care to protect my house. They were also very professional and got the job finished in one day, even though it was scheduled for two. After the job was done they cleaned everything up nicely, and also showed me pictures of all the completed work. Great job!"
