"I thought he did a good job explaining what he did do but very disappointed they didn't explain that you had to pay a lot extra money to actually find out what kind of mold if any you had. The $199.00 fee they only looked for mold & tested the air quality. If they found any mold it cost a lot more to find out what type. He did say we had mold in our crawl space but not what kind, that cost more money. Overall good for what he did do."

"Travis arrived on time and worked very efficiently on the mold remediation as well as cleaning all the air ducts. The disruption was minimal and they finished early. Without question I would recommend Travis and Green Home Solutions."

"They did quote me a price but they were unwilling to provide me with an accurate estimate unless I used their mitigation service. I used American Water Damage previously and the owner did go out of his way to help us."

"I had a lot of construction debris in my system after a kitchen remodel - and it was unclear whether the vents (including those feeding a partial walk out basement) had ever been cleaned. I called to claim a coupon for the cleaning and ended up adding on sterilization just in case there was mold, etc. from prior year before I owned it. Not only was he professional and prompt (he was out the next day in my case), but he was helpful and full of great tips and tricks to keep the system functioning well. I feel much better about the air quality now."

FAQs for indoor air quality testing projects in Greensboro, NC

You should test your home's air quality if you or your family experience health problems like allergies or respiratory issues, as these could be linked to indoor contaminants. Also, consider testing if you're concerned about mold, radon, carbon monoxide, or if you've recently had home construction, demolition, excavation, or remodeling that could have released chemicals into your indoor air.

An indoor air quality test typically takes one to three hours to complete. After the inspection, you'll receive a detailed written report within two to 10 days. The evaluation includes comprehensive air sampling from all designated areas in your home. Your specialist will review the findings with you and provide clear guidance on steps to take if any issues are found, helping ensure your indoor environment meets health and safety standards.

A certified indoor air quality consultant or inspector is the right professional to perform your indoor air test. While some home inspectors have certifications, they often subcontract this specialized work to trained professionals with advanced tools. This expert will thoroughly evaluate air samples from every area in your home and clearly explain the findings to you. Be sure to confirm your tester's credentials before scheduling your service.
