"I used A-Star last summer. It went very well. From the salesman to the installers, everyone was very professional, very accommodating, and very punctual. The installation was done in the end of August 2014. When I initially contacted them, summer was just around the corner. As you can imagine, they were booked solid for installations through almost the end of summer, however, they loaned me 4 or 5 (I don't remember exactly) brand new window units to put throughout my house until they could complete the installation, and at no additional cost. I was very pleased with their service. Recently, an issue arose with the thermostat that affected our ability to use the Central Air. They came as soon as I called and serviced it at no charge being as that it had been installed less than a year ago. They offer service plans in connection with the manufacturers warranty, and they were significantly cheaper price wise than all the local competitors. "When I was looking for a new high efficiency furnace, I received several quotes and Sure Temp was almost $800 cheaper than any other Carrier dealer. They were on time and did a neat and effective job of installing the furnace. They made sure that everything was clean and all of the paperwork was simple. I was very happy I bought the furnace and used them. Since that time I had 4 service calls. One was related to a minor issue related to installation that appeared during the winter and was quickly dealt with and three calls were related to an issue outside of their control that was tricky to resolve. "Everyone, from initial analysis to job completion, was professional, courteous, and exceptionally friendly within the constraints of the COVID19 situation. They did our job the day before lockdown and provided masks for themselves and us, even though the masks were not a recommended precaution yet. They did not over-promise any dollar amount savings; they only guaranteed that we would feel more comfortable or they would come back until we did. And we do. All the other insulating and heating measures we've taken - including a gas fireplace, new windows, thermal curtains and lots of rugs - never gave us the level of comfort that we have now. There have been a couple of minor issues regarding tape that didn't stick, and John was immediately responsive; at first porch-delivering a new roll of tape for us to try ourselves. When that didn't work, he scheduled someone to come by the next day to work on it, but for our safety and theirs, we asked him to hold off until after the lockdown is lifted. We have NO DOUBTS that John will do what he said he would. If Global Dwelling provided another service that we needed, we would not hesitate to hire them again."

"The people they sent out came out, they came out , I think about 4 or 5 different times. I talked with the technicians and said, "this is ridiculous, the furnace is old" and he said, "we agree, but they only want to do the patching". They would patch it and it would break, they would patch it, and it would break. Finally, I said, "I want a new furnace. What do we have to do to do a new furnace. You've been out here, this is like the 6th time," and he said, "I'll have my manager write something up", and so they did and they replaced the furnace. They tried. They were more interested in patching things than replacing things. They were willing to send out 4 or 5 different parts. The things that I see that would help the most is if it were easier to get a hold of them on the phone or if their website worked. Just being able to contact someone in person. Sometimes, you can't explain everything online. We were able to get a hold of them, we were able to talk to them. It just takes some time, they had to jump through the hoops with their company, we understood that, but they came through and got us a new furnace. A nice new furnace too."

"I own and manage several properties that were built over 50 years ago and decided that it would be a good idea to have them all inspected with regards to all chimneys, dampers and flues.  I wanted to make sure the occupants were protected against carbon monoxide leaks and the properties protected against fire threat.  I contacted Skyline because they were recommended by several other property managers whose opinions I respect.  I'm glad I did.
When Skyline came out they explained to me, as well as some of the curious occupants, why it is important to make sure all the flues were clear, aligned, and chimney structure intact and solid.  They took their time explaining and were very clear.
There were several properties and Skyline was professional, courteous, patient, and flexible with my ever changing schedule.  I could trust them to work at a location on their own.  What I like about Skyline is that they are a local business that really cares about their customer's lives and the quality of work that they do.
The estimates they gave me were fair and accurate.  As they did their work they were able to identify several instances where the terra-cotta flues were cracked and had shifted.  This caused poor flow and presented a danger.  Their recommendations to replace the flues were appropriate and the costs were fair, even below market price compared to some of the larger providers.  Because of their craftsmanship  I decided that while they were there I should have them do some additional work replacing masonry and roofing.
Going into this project I knew that there was the potential for major issues and might even require replacing all chimneys at all sites.  You can't see what's going on inside a chimney until you have someone get in their for you but the safety of the occupants and properties was going to be worth it.  Gladly, Skyline was able to do the work and didn't try to up-sell me anything I did't need.
I have recommended Skyline to my other partners and family members.
