"I used A-Star last summer. It went very well. From the salesman to the installers, everyone was very professional, very accommodating, and very punctual. The installation was done in the end of August 2014. When I initially contacted them, summer was just around the corner. As you can imagine, they were booked solid for installations through almost the end of summer, however, they loaned me 4 or 5 (I don't remember exactly) brand new window units to put throughout my house until they could complete the installation, and at no additional cost. I was very pleased with their service. Recently, an issue arose with the thermostat that affected our ability to use the Central Air. They came as soon as I called and serviced it at no charge being as that it had been installed less than a year ago. They offer service plans in connection with the manufacturers warranty, and they were significantly cheaper price wise than all the local competitors. "When I was looking for a new high efficiency furnace, I received several quotes and Sure Temp was almost $800 cheaper than any other Carrier dealer. They were on time and did a neat and effective job of installing the furnace. They made sure that everything was clean and all of the paperwork was simple. I was very happy I bought the furnace and used them. Since that time I had 4 service calls. One was related to a minor issue related to installation that appeared during the winter and was quickly dealt with and three calls were related to an issue outside of their control that was tricky to resolve. "Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Everyone, from initial analysis to job completion, was professional, courteous, and exceptionally friendly within the constraints of the COVID19 situation. They did our job the day before lockdown and provided masks for themselves and us, even though the masks were not a recommended precaution yet. They did not over-promise any dollar amount savings; they only guaranteed that we would feel more comfortable or they would come back until we did. And we do. All the other insulating and heating measures we've taken - including a gas fireplace, new windows, thermal curtains and lots of rugs - never gave us the level of comfort that we have now. There have been a couple of minor issues regarding tape that didn't stick, and John was immediately responsive; at first porch-delivering a new roll of tape for us to try ourselves. When that didn't work, he scheduled someone to come by the next day to work on it, but for our safety and theirs, we asked him to hold off until after the lockdown is lifted. We have NO DOUBTS that John will do what he said he would. If Global Dwelling provided another service that we needed, we would not hesitate to hire them again."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"I own and manage several properties that were built over 50 years ago and decided that it would be a good idea to have them all inspected with regards to all chimneys, dampers and flues.  I wanted to make sure the occupants were protected against carbon monoxide leaks and the properties protected against fire threat.  I contacted Skyline because they were recommended by several other property managers whose opinions I respect.  I'm glad I did.
When Skyline came out they explained to me, as well as some of the curious occupants, why it is important to make sure all the flues were clear, aligned, and chimney structure intact and solid.  They took their time explaining and were very clear.
There were several properties and Skyline was professional, courteous, patient, and flexible with my ever changing schedule.  I could trust them to work at a location on their own.  What I like about Skyline is that they are a local business that really cares about their customer's lives and the quality of work that they do.
The estimates they gave me were fair and accurate.  As they did their work they were able to identify several instances where the terra-cotta flues were cracked and had shifted.  This caused poor flow and presented a danger.  Their recommendations to replace the flues were appropriate and the costs were fair, even below market price compared to some of the larger providers.  Because of their craftsmanship  I decided that while they were there I should have them do some additional work replacing masonry and roofing.
Going into this project I knew that there was the potential for major issues and might even require replacing all chimneys at all sites.  You can't see what's going on inside a chimney until you have someone get in their for you but the safety of the occupants and properties was going to be worth it.  Gladly, Skyline was able to do the work and didn't try to up-sell me anything I did't need.
I have recommended Skyline to my other partners and family members.
