"On extremely short notice, James and his team were onsite and were very efficient in the performance of the work. Even though they had a 20-point inspection and cleaning list to do for a small flat fee, they were meticulous and did not rush anything. In fact, when it came to monitoring refrigerant levels, James took several readings to establish correct information. At all times, James took the time to explain his work and process, answering my many questions politely and professionally. Faced with a possible expensive repair, James did troubleshooting to establish that it was a faulty part. Instead of trying to get me to pay him for the part and repair, he advised me that the part was still under warranty and to contact the people who installed it. That showed me both his character and his skill in his craft. James provided me with advice that saved us money in both short and long term, and i highly recommend him."

"When our HVAC system failed, we started looking around for a company that we would like to have a long term relationship with. Our neighbors had just had a Trane system installed in their home and were very happy with both the Trane unit and the company that did the installation: O’Brien’s. We spoke with a couple of companies, but O’Brien’s stood out. First, Mike Russell responded to our call immediately. He came to our home, and before discussing any new systems, did a complete inspection and calculation of what our home required. He then sat down and gave us multiple options of manufacturers and SEER ratings. He helped us narrow the systems down to what we decided on. We were able to schedule installation the very next week. Mike Bennet was our installer. He showed up with his team on time each morning and kept his workspace immaculate. We were very impressed with their work, and they were nice enough to repair a couple items that they found improperly done by other companies. Our system had one glitch the first week, but Tim Morehouse had it fixed before we returned home, then returned later to confirm all was well. Overall, we are extremely pleased the entire operation at O’Brien’s. We’ve always found that when you find a contractor that you can trust, stick with them. We are now loyal O’Brien’s customers."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"I would highly recommend this business.  We had them come and restain the deck and at first just powerwash the house.  They scheduled the work right away.  After doing the pressure washing, there were some areas with paint chips under the soffit.  Mike offered to repaint those for free.  During this, they noticed areas of the soffit that were rotten, so we had them repair those areas of the wood.  They also fixed a few screens that were damaged during the pressure washing for free.  
Everything turned out great, and we are very happy we had this work done.  Mike and Crystal are very professional and easy to work with.  I will be having them do some more work on our house in the near future.

"They did the work and it was fine, but they didn't get the price right. It was really frustrating to get them to give us the correct price. I am sure my husband will call them to fix the furnace if we had another problem. They did the service in October when we had the last hurricane and they had to replace the furnace and the air-conditioner. They did some deck work with it as some of that had to be replaced. They had to build the furnace and air-conditioner up to elevate the flooding issues. They did the metal work under the furnace to elevate it. And outside for the air-conditioning unit they built a wooden platform to put it up. They did a good job when they did the work. The state was giving a rebate if you got your paper work in, but you should have it from the energy efficiency unit. So it had to be broken down by the price of the furnace, what the specifications of the furnace were, the price of air-conditioning unit and specifications to make sure it met their qualifications for the rebate. We went there 3 times before they could get it figured out, and it was just frustrating. It wasn't the quality of the work; it was the paper work that was a problem. It is hard to comment on punctuality because everybody needed the help at the same time, it wasn't in the normal circumstances. The rebate was available only till the money was gone, so we had to go in and get our paper work in electronically and once everybody put that in, it deducted the money from the pool, so it lasted from a Thursday till the Tuesday. After Tuesday if I didn't have my paper work in I wouldn't get any money. It was kind of important why the paper was needed. We have used them before, but it was just an issue of the paper work this time."
