"Great company! Pump failure happened on Sunday night at 11pm, of course. Called Monday at 7am and received call back before 8am. Plumber arrived by 1pm and the problem was fixed by 3:30pm...all on Monday! Excellent response time, professional, and cost competitive. This company will be my family's new go-to for plumbing needs!!"

"If you want to pay the most exorbitant prices possible for your job, this is the company for you. “By the job” pricing is a rip-off, at least how these people use it. Every job is plugged into a category and prices are set by category. You might have a job that takes half an hour or one that takes 2 hours, but they’ll both be charged at the same (astronomic) rate. Had a leaking drain pipe under the kitchen sink. Needed new seals and maybe a section of plastic pipe replaced. Less than an hour job. Plumber came out and quoted $700. These people do not apply the $99 trip charge to repairs. After expressing outrage he lowered the quote to $400, plus the $99 trip charge. And tried to make it sound like he was doing a big favor. So $500 for a less than an hour job that even with $100 an hour for labor should have been $200 or so. I ate the trip charge and showed him the door. But if you like expensive plumbing repairs this is the place for you. No job too small to charge huge money for."

"The technicians checked the hot water heater as well as cleaned it. It is an older one, but they discovered the problem, replaced the part and waited to be sure that the problem was solved, before leaving."

"The service plumber, Kameron, arrived less than 10 minutes into the stated service window. He was very courteous and professional, kept the work area clean and did the job with attention to detail. The project was a toilet reset caused by improper installation from the builder. This is a new house. Kameron completed the job in 30 minutes, including clean-up and testing. Thank you, Accurate Plumbing."

"They were fantastic. I had a clogged drain in my basement. I text them on Thursday am. They responded immediately and came the next day at noon. 2 plumbers came and were here for over an hour. They were polite and efficient. I certainly will use them again."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Howard, OH

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
