"Our doors were ten years old and really looking worn. Marvin came and recommended a color. We ended up having them restore not only our front doors, but garage doors, shutters and corbels! Taking the front doors off and restoring them in a shop is the only way to do this! They color choice was beautiful. The project was completed on time as promised. All of the doors look better than when they were new! People stop and look at our doors and continuously rave about how beautiful they look. Great job, responsive service. "Everything was done very well. The painting took a few days because it was done by just one person. Painting the doors & trim requires the door to remain open for a few hours to dry, so I am glad there weren't any mosquitoes or extremely cold weather."

"HRR has performed work on a couple properties since 2014. Much of the work was to correct problems left by a previous contractor. Services ranged from floor tile, painting, a/c work, Sheetrock repair, plumbing, appliance installation, blind installation, etc. They manage change requests efficiently and provide cost before work is started. I trust Phil and his contractors with full access to the properties if I am not there.

The first set of replacement dropdown stairs were too big - not their fault.  I was told by the young woman receiving their calls they would have some drywall for patching; they didn't, so I made a run to exchange the stairs and buy drywall. The drywall repair had to dry and was painted on the return trip. The repairs went well and these are decent people working hard at their trade.  Compared to the Lowe's quote alone for installing the dropdown stairs, they were a better deal.  At the time I believe their offer was $200 for 4 hours of work; it is actually 2 hours of work for the two of them.  They had to drive about an hour to my home.  I would feel comfortable using them again for handyman type repairs.

This is actually the second time I have been asked by AL to write this review; I am not totally happy with AL as they seem to bury the reviews so they are hard to find!

Barry and Bill arrived when promised, carefully measured for materials, purchased materials and then rebuilt the back door frame, including recaulking the door and repainting the door. It was a bit challenging because of the size of the door, but the door was reinstalled with a new frame! The work area was clean when they left! The job was completed in a reasonable time."
